The texture is absolutely fantastic! It applies thinly and feels moisturizing at first, then settles into a soft, velvety finish. Even though I tend to have a lot of dead skin cells, it didn't accentuate them at all and went on beautifully! The color range is a bit disappointing. There are too many dull shades, which is a letdown. - mm*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 13, 2022
Oh, I bought this after not trusting the official site and obsessively searching for other people's swatches. It's a bit disappointing. Fortunately, it doesn't make you look like a corpse, but wearing it alone is a bit... well... anyway, it doesn't suit me. Update 01/06/23: I tried applying it properly on bare lips and then topped it with a clear gloss. Wait... why does it look good now? It gives a natural lip look, makes me appear pure, and even adds a subtle allure. It's less plum-colored than the Festive Plum shade. If you like a light plum color, go for it! There's no major drawback. It's just an average, run-of-the-mill tint. - la********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2022
The color is beautiful. It has a lovely mauve tone that really complements cool skin tones. I'm also satisfied with how little it transfers onto masks. It sets quite quickly, so if you want to do an overlip, you need to work fast to get it right. - rk**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 25, 2022
My lips weren't in great condition, so it applied a bit unevenly, but the color is a slightly deep mauve that creates a lovely mood. It's quite pretty! The product itself is called 'Watery Blur,' and it's fascinating how it starts as a moisturizing water-like texture when first applied, but transforms into a velvety, blurred finish over time. (I've tried another product before with a water-like texture and blurred finish, but it was too drying for me and I ended up barely using it. The Merge product doesn't seem to be that extreme.) Even after a while, it doesn't feel heavy on the lips, and I like the comfortable, blurred finish. The scent is clean and pleasant, without that typical headache-inducing lipstick smell. One somewhat disappointing aspect is that once it dries, the blurring effect doesn't work as well. If you apply multiple layers, it tends to pill or bunch up. I found that the best method is to apply a thin layer first, let it dry, and then add another thin layer mainly on the inner part of the lips. This way, you can minimize the clumping and pilling effect.
