I decided to try this cleansing oil because I heard soybean oil and jojoba oil are great for the skin. First off, it's incredibly gentle and not at all harsh. After cleansing, my skin didn't feel tight or dry, which was a pleasant surprise. The cleansing effectiveness was a bit on the milder side. But that's really a matter of choosing between protecting your skin barrier or going for stronger cleansing power, depending on your skin's needs. Since my skin barrier is currently compromised, I actually preferred this gentler approach. What I really appreciated about this cleansing oil is that it contains ingredients that help maintain the skin barrier, which gave me peace of mind. It's a bit disappointing that there are some caution-worthy ingredients. Also, those who prefer a more powerful cleanse might not be as fond of this product. When choosing a cleansing oil, it's important to consider your skin type and current skin condition. For those with sensitive or compromised skin, a gentler formula like this one can be beneficial. However, if you have oily skin or wear heavy makeup, you might need something with stronger cleansing power. Always patch test new products and discontinue use if you experience any irritation or allergic reactions. - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 13, 2025
Among cleansing oils, this one causes less dryness and tightness while being gentle. Its cleansing effectiveness is quite good considering how little it dries out the skin. It doesn't feel heavy or suffocating like some oils, but rather has a lightweight feel. The overall balance between user experience, minimal dryness, cleansing power, and scent is excellent - it seems to work well for me. It's great for dry skin types. Compared to other cleansing oils, there's hardly any tightness even when focusing on cleansing the eyelids thoroughly. The fragrance lingers in your mouth, requiring you to rinse several times after washing your face. It feels very uncomfortable, as if there's oil in your mouth. It's expensive. Don't expect it to dramatically smooth out skin texture caused by excess sebum after cleansing. The more powerful the cleansing action, the more refreshed and dry your skin feels afterwards. This one leaves you feeling less dry but also less refreshed. For oily skin types with a lot of sebum, the results might be just average. - ow***Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJun 8, 2025
It removes most makeup effectively. Perfect for days when you've applied light makeup. Every time I use this product, I end up with blemishes, so I've stopped using it. - th*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I used this as my first cleanse after makeup and it worked great. I didn't experience any blemishes from the oil. I used it without any major complaints. Since I've been using a lot of oil-based products lately, I'll probably use it again. - pa*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 3, 2025
The Mixsoon soybean line is famous for being gentle and absorbing well, and I was really impressed with how effectively this cleansing oil removes makeup I keep this cleansing oil on hand, but the high price point is a bit disappointing - sk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 31, 2025
As a cleansing oil enthusiast, I really liked this one. It doesn't sting around the eyes, removes eyeliner effectively, and doesn't leave any uncomfortable residue on the skin after rinsing. While there aren't any major drawbacks, I'd hesitate to buy it at full price when there are so many other options available. It's definitely worth considering during sales or promotions though. - mr******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 31, 2025
It deep cleanses effectively and emulsifies well. As a man, I didn't find it too heavy to use. Surprisingly, it contains some potentially harmful ingredients. It would have been better if these were excluded. - ly*******Dry SkinRednessRecommendedMar 23, 2025
First off, it's gentle on the skin with no irritation and cleanses thoroughly. Compared to other oils, it's not greasy but leaves skin hydrated. It's perfect for my dry skin - feels like I've found my holy grail product! It's such an excellent product that I can hardly find any flaws. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's a bit on the pricey side. - hi***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 10, 2025
I usually only apply sunscreen on top of my basic skincare, but I use oil cleansing when I've applied a lot of sunscreen or when I get blackheads. This cleanser removes makeup gently and effectively, has no irritating fragrance, and the slim bottle is perfect for keeping in the bathroom. Since I don't wear heavy makeup, I prefer lighter oils, and this product felt a bit rich for me. However, I think it could be great for those with oily skin or who wear more makeup. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
The lightweight, fluid texture made it perfect for daily use without feeling heavy. I loved that it didn't leave a slippery residue after rinsing. It emulsified well, which seemed to make cleansing effective. Overall, it was a pleasant, no-fuss product to use. I couldn't quite place the scent, but the constant fragrance while massaging was off-putting, and the oily smell mixed in was the biggest drawback. Also, due to its light consistency, I found I needed a separate makeup remover for heavier makeup. While it was fine for daily use, it felt inadequate for tackling dead skin cells or managing excess sebum.
