When my skin was so dry it was acting up, I used this with an oil. It works wonders! If you apply it too thickly, it can sometimes cause your makeup to pill. That's why I mainly used it at night. - je******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJul 10, 2025
The best part is that it's non-irritating! It's great to apply when your skin is irritated and you want to restore your skin barrier. It absorbs well. Compared to the balm from the same line, it absorbs better but seems less effective. However, it's good as a daily moisturizer! It's on the pricier side. Think of it more as a gentle daily skincare product rather than a powerful soothing treatment. - an**********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJul 10, 2025
Absorbs well: It's incredibly moisturizing and applies smoothly. You can cover your entire face with just a small amount, so be careful with how much you use... (If you're not careful, your face might end up super slick and shiny...) Absorption rate: It seems a bit slow, in my opinion. After application, there's a slippery feeling, so if you typically dislike that sensation or feel it's not your type, you might want to think twice about this one. I recently had a bad experience with a cleansing foam that left my skin feeling tight, but this product immediately eliminated that deep dryness. It's fantastic! I highly recommend it to those with dry skin who are experiencing tightness due to using the wrong cleansing foam!! I'll probably repurchase when I run out, hehe. To be honest, I already have two bottles. (Please note that this is based on my personal experience.) I felt that it doesn't absorb quickly, as it leaves a very slippery feeling after application. The rich texture... is quite noticeable... Because of this, my hair kept sticking to my face, so I've started using the newly released Numbers #1 powder afterward! - ag*****Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 9, 2025
As someone with large pores and oily skin, I was a bit worried when I started using this product. But wow, I totally recommend it!!! It hydrates so well that my skin produces less oil. My sunscreen used to slide off because of the excess oil, but now it stays put until the afternoon! No breakouts, and my skin texture has improved dramatically. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! It feels slightly oily at first, but if you pat it in to help it absorb and wait about 5 minutes, it settles into this perfect, dewy finish. Not too greasy, just right! Make sure to pat it in for better absorption! And remember, use just a little bit during summer! - gk********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJul 8, 2025
This is a true holy grail product that I'm on my fourth bottle of! Highly recommended for dry skin! Even with my sensitive skin, I rarely get blemishes when using this, and I can feel my skin texture improving. If you don't have dry skin, you might find it a bit rich! It can feel a bit heavy in summer, but you can adjust the amount you use. - eu******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 7, 2025
Among the regenerating creams I've bought with my own money, this one's the best. I have extremely dry skin, so I was debating whether to get the balm type. But since balms only last 6 months after opening, I opted for this generous product with a 1-year shelf life - and I'm so glad I did! In my skincare routine, I use this cream right after my essence, before other creams. I love that it's not overly rich. Interestingly, a friend with oily skin recommended it to me, and I was pleasantly surprised to find it works well for my very dry skin too. I just use a bit more than she does. The gentle formulation with hot spring water really instills confidence. I'm planning to try the balm version this winter too. There weren't any downsides. Should I just say it's a cream full of advantages? If this was the final step, I'd have some tips to share. But it seems you're layering quite a bit - essence, this regenerating cream, then a hydrating cream, firming cream, and even a placenta cream. No wonder your skin doesn't feel tight! Remember, sometimes less is more when it comes to skincare. I'll upload a photo tomorrow. I'm too tired to go to my vanity and take a picture right now. - es*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJul 7, 2025
I've been gently patting on small amounts, and I think my skin texture is improving! I'm only using a little bit since I heard applying too much can cause blemishes. Remember to always patch test new products, especially if you have super sensitive skin. Start with a small amount and gradually increase as your skin adjusts. This brightening moisturizer seems to work well when applied sparingly, which is great for maintaining a healthy oil and moisture balance without risking irritation or clogged pores. - 4r********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 6, 2025
I've been using both the balm and cream for over three months now. 1. The texture is soft and deeply moisturizing. 2. The before and after results were remarkably noticeable. Before using these products, I struggled with severe blemishes and a compromised skin barrier. Now, I rarely experience breakouts, except for the occasional hormonal blemish. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin. It's perfect for dry skin types and combination dehydrated skin. 1. The absorption is a bit slow 2. There's a slight oily feeling after it absorbs - ao***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJul 6, 2025
When it comes to soothing and healing, I was quite satisfied. It applies more smoothly than night creams. I did notice it felt a bit rich on the skin. In the peak of summer, some might find it a bit too oily. - km*****Dry SkinRecommendedJul 6, 2025
I discovered this product through a recommendation during my body peel treatment. It's been incredibly helpful after facial procedures, extractions, or peel treatments! Even though I have dry skin, I only apply it at night as it feels quite rich. For those with oily skin, I'd suggest using it only on specific areas that need extra care. The texture is quite thick, but if you squeeze a bit onto the back of your hand and rub it a few times, it becomes more fluid. This allows you to apply it in thin layers for better absorption. The texture can be a bit challenging to work with. If you're not careful with the amount, it can feel too heavy and potentially lead to blemishes. At the esthetic salon I go to, they advised that during summer, applying moisturizer followed by a regenerating cream after your regular skincare routine might feel excessive. They recommended mixing the moisturizer and regenerating cream in a 50:50 ratio. I've tried this method, and it leaves my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated.
