I've been consistently taking probiotics along with prebiotics for over 6 months, as they're said to be 'food' for the good bacteria and enhance the effects. The price is great, and it has a pleasantly sweet taste reminiscent of milk powder, which I find delicious. The fine particles tend to stick to your teeth. Moreover, these days there are more synbiotic products available that combine probiotics and prebiotics, so I think people might be more inclined to buy those instead.
