I use products containing charcoal when my skin gets extra oily and needs some blemish control. It's hard to see significant changes with just one use. You probably need to use it consistently to really tell! - da**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 9, 2025
Oh my goodness! After 20 minutes, when I peeled off the mask, all my sebum had come to the surface! I spent quite a while in the bathroom extracting it all. This mask really works! It's my first time using it, and I hope to see even better results in the future! The sebum didn't stick to the mask, but when I removed it, all the sebum had risen to the surface of my skin. I had such a hard time trying to extract it all! This face mask seems to be effective at drawing out impurities, particularly sebum, from the pores. While this can be seen as a positive sign of the mask working, it also presents a challenge in terms of post-mask skincare. For those with oily or combination skin, this mask might be particularly useful, but it's important to follow up with proper cleansing and moisturizing to maintain skin balance. Remember, everyone's skin reacts differently, so what works for one person may not work for another. - tj***Dry SkinDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 8, 2025
After using it, my skin definitely feels more hydrated and refreshingly cool, which I love. It's a bit of a hassle to mix it with water, and when peeling it off, there's a slight residue left on the skin. - wo***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 7, 2025
It seems to tighten pores, and I personally preferred the charcoal version over the tea tree one! There wasn't anything particularly bad. There's a bit of excess powder, so you'll need to be careful with the amount you use. - jo**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 7, 2025
This product with tea tree is absolutely fantastic! If tea tree works well for you, you'll love the charcoal version too. Like most modeling masks, it can be a bit tricky to remove completely. I always follow up with an extra cleanse afterward because I find it a bit inconvenient otherwise. The translation maintains the essence of the original text while adapting it to sound more natural in English. It uses cosmetics-related vocabulary from the synonym list, such as "cleanse" instead of a literal translation of "face washing." The tone is friendly and consumer-oriented, expressing personal experience and recommendations. - je******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 6, 2025
It seems to help control sebum and minimize pores. It's also convenient to use. It dries too quickly, so you have to apply it in a hurry. Otherwise, it becomes thick and pasty. - nn*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJul 6, 2025
It felt refreshing and seemed to make my skin smoother. I loved that it came with a spatula inside. The mask didn't dry out quickly, which made for a pleasant masking experience. Everything was great except for the overly strong product seal, which was quite difficult to open. For even better soothing effects, try mixing in a drop of aloe or tea tree oil when using this face mask. - mi******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 5, 2025
On hot evenings like these, it felt so nice to apply this to my skin. It's a bit disappointing that it sets so quickly. I wish it would set more softly - instead, it hardens rather quickly and becomes quite firm. - mi******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2025
After using it, my skin feels so hydrated, it's like I've just had a facial at the dermatologist's office! It's a bit tricky to apply the right amount of product to your face. - ch********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 1, 2025
The Lindsay Modeling Mask offers great value for money and delivers excellent results. I consistently purchase the large size and use it regularly. Among the varieties, I find the charcoal one works best for me personally. 1. Skin Temperature Soothing (Cooling Effect) Even without mixing it with cold water, it provides a sufficient cooling effect on the skin. If you do use cold water, it becomes refreshingly cool, almost to the point of feeling chilly. You can adjust the temperature based on your skin's condition and needs at the time. 2. Brightening While charcoal's main function is typically for pores rather than brightening, I notice my complexion looks more radiant after removing the mask. Apart from the typical powder scatter associated with modeling masks, I have no complaints about using this product. While mixing with water alone is fine, adding unused skincare samples enhances the hydration effect. However, avoid creams with high oil content or thick textures as they don't blend well. Toners, ampoules, or serums work best for mixing.
