It's not a snap or simple open/close, but uses magnets, which I found fascinating and convenient! Perhaps because of this, it feels a bit weighty. - Looking at the product, you can see a slight shimmer. When you swipe it on, the color applies well! The color payoff is true to what you see. However, it doesn't go on too intensely. True to its name as a powder, it doesn't feel dusty, but rather has a slightly grainy texture. When applied, it absorbs oil, leaving a soft, matte finish! - The color itself is darker than expected, so you need to blend it well. It might be better suited as a contour or eyeshadow. If you have a similar complexion to mine, I'd recommend choosing a lighter shade!
