My skin was a total mess and scars weren't healing, so I bought this to cover up. Surprisingly, it didn't work well for blemishes and scars, but became my go-to for covering under-eye discoloration, dark circles, and contouring. What an unexpected find for contouring! Try it on your T-zone and nose tip - it's amazing. It even covers dark circles well. With 9 shades, it's fun to mix colors like paint. You can become a color magician! It really emphasizes dead skin cells. It's okay to use when you don't have blemishes and your skin is in good condition... The application isn't particularly smooth, so it requires practice. For the price, there are quite a few disappointing aspects. After applying foundation, use the brown shade for nose contouring, and the light apricot shade to brighten highlight areas. Blend with a puff for a natural contoured look. - ks******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 26, 2025
I was surprised to discover how great the ingredients are after checking Hwahae. It's not easy to find concealers with such good ingredients. The coverage is medium to high, and with 9 different shades, color correcting is a breeze. It severely emphasizes dead skin cells around the nose. I wouldn't recommend this for those who use green concealer to color correct around the nose area. - se************Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 13, 2025
I've been using this product for about 6 months now, and honestly, I think it's fantastic. It's particularly great at covering blemishes, and surprisingly, it even manages to conceal redness from pimples and purplish scars to some extent. For dark circles, while it might not completely hide severe cases like mine, it definitely makes them look better. Keep this in mind when considering your purchase. The Hwahae Testers would approve! You need to mix the colors to use this effectively, which can be challenging for makeup beginners. To be honest, I'd rather recommend a regular concealer for novices. This product requires skillful color blending to avoid looking obvious and achieve good coverage. As a beginner, I've been using this concealer for a while, and initially, I struggled with color combinations. This led to disasters like an extremely bright nose (!) or areas where the product didn't match my complexion at all. Also, despite having 9 colors, you tend to use only a few frequently, potentially wasting the others. Be cautious of this point! For redness or purplish areas, try mixing in a bit of green and purple. For dark circles, which have a bluish tint, again, a small amount of green and purple mixed in works wonders for concealing. - ak********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 25, 2024
It's more versatile than a regular concealer since it also color corrects. I've been using it for a long time and the way it absorbs remains consistently good! It applies thinly which is nice, but the coverage could be better. Since I only use the shade that matches my complexion, there are more colors I don't use. It would be nice if they reduced the number of shades and made a smaller product. I haven't tried other products so I'm not sure, but the staying power doesn't seem to be that great! It comes with a brush-like applicator which is great for blending. - km*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 1, 2024
- Wide range of colors allows covering various blemishes with a single palette. - Effectively conceals acne, dark circles, and redness. - The colors apply true to the palette shades. - The product consistency is quite thick. - Recommended to mix with other products to slightly thin the concentration rather than using alone. - The color range might be too broad for beginners. - Improper application may result in a cakey appearance. - sy*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedOct 14, 2023
It absorbs well and I love the variety of shades. I use it to cover blemishes and around the sides of my nose. It's also great for brightening the under-eye area. It can get a bit watery. It's not an extremely hydrating type, so I'd recommend applying it with foundation around the sides of the nose. - ks*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2023
The ingredients are better than most other concealers, and it's versatile - you can use it not just as a concealer, but also for partial shading and color correcting. Plus, you can mix different shades to match your complexion perfectly. The way it absorbs isn't great, and personally, I found the application to be subpar. The coverage is just average, but considering the ingredients are better than other concealers, that's something to keep in mind. Occasionally, it can get a bit watery, but not enough to be bothersome.
