This shade is perfect for all you cool-toned beauties out there! The formula blends seamlessly, creating a filter-like effect that smooths out fine lines. It doesn't accentuate dead skin cells either. I felt the color payoff was almost non-existent, so the staying power is a total flop. It seems like only a tiny amount comes out each time you use it. - al******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 8, 2025
True to its "Cooling Up" name, I highly recommend this as a base lip color for cool-toned skin. When you apply this and layer other point colors on top, it usually looks beautiful. It's such a matte lipstick that it makes you think, "I really need to take care of my lip wrinkles." It feels a bit like applying pastel? It's too intense to wear alone. You'll probably need to exfoliate your lips thoroughly the night before. Even if you apply a warm-toned point lip color over it, it neutralizes beautifully. - gm*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 7, 2025
First off, I'd highly recommend this as a go-to base lip product for all you cool girls out there. It's also fantastic for those with smaller lips, as it can naturally make them appear fuller. If you have some lip pigmentation, I suggest laying down this base first, then blending in a darker shade towards the center for a beautiful effect. One slight drawback is that the color payoff isn't super long-lasting, so you might find yourself needing to reapply more frequently than you'd like. No need for a separate lip liner with this one - it's an all-in-one wonder. Apply it slightly outside your natural lip line, then use your fingers to soften the edges. It blends like a dream, giving you that perfect, effortless look. - tb********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJun 26, 2025
I don't tend to have dry, flaky lips, so I didn't experience any issues with dead skin cells being emphasized. The lip product feels wonderfully light and powdery when applied, which really lifts my mood. At first, it's a true cool-toned shade, but I noticed that after some time, it shifts to a slightly warmer tone. - vw********Brightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJun 22, 2025
- p7******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 18, 2025
This is definitely a cool-toned lip color, perfect for those with cool undertones. It has an overall lightweight and velvety feel. The shade is a cool lavender-tinged pink that brightens up your complexion while really bringing out those cool undertones. The formula lives up to its name with a soft-focus, blurred effect finish. It's not a dry matte, but rather melts into your lips smoothly, which is really lovely. Applying it just to the inner part of your lips for a gradient effect looks natural and beautiful too. Hmm... while the color is nice, if I had to point out a drawback, it would be that it fades easily and requires some lip prep. It can be a bit tricky to apply if you have any dead skin cells on your lips. You can apply it all over your lips and then add another layer in the center, or even layer it with other lip products for a beautiful effect. - cd******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2025
The cool pink shade is perfect for those with cool undertones to use as a base. It's great for precisely applying blush to areas like the nose and chin when you want to achieve a specific look. This product is versatile, working well as both a base and a blush. It tends to accentuate dead skin cells, unfortunately. If that bothers you, try Colorgram instead - it's really fantastic. - st*******RecommendedJun 3, 2025
It covers lip lines well and the color payoff is absolutely gorgeous, which I love. There's not really anything bad to say, but I found it a bit tricky to apply evenly, which was slightly disappointing. - or*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 2, 2025
As a cool-toned base lip color, it's an absolute perfect match. I bought it after hearing the rave reviews, and it's truly stunning. Since it's a matte lipstick, if you don't properly exfoliate your lips, it can end up looking patchy and uneven. For best results with matte lipsticks, make sure to gently remove dead skin cells from your lips before application. This will help the color go on smoothly and evenly, enhancing your overall look. - si****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2025
As someone with fair skin, I'm absolutely thrilled with this lip product. It's such a delicate, pretty pink shade, and the scent has a soft, marshmallow-like quality. The blending is superb, and the product doesn't leak at all. The texture is incredibly fine - I'd say it's exceptionally smooth. It truly gives a blurred effect, covering any dead skin cells on the lips, making them look smooth and beautiful. To me, the consistency feels somewhat similar to a pudding-pot texture. Honestly, there's not a single disappointing aspect. It's a gorgeous tint with high versatility. I found it works really well as a blush too.
