However, this cushion is truly a product I can't quite figure out. I was so satisfied using the Ultimate White Cushion during summer that I wanted to continue using it during the changing seasons and winter. When I heard a Moisture version was released, I decided to give it a try. There are no advantages to speak of. I might as well mix the Ultimate White with some serum and apply that instead. - It's thick. Even when adjusting the amount, the product itself is heavy. - While it's good that it's moisturizing, it feels like they've only added oil. - The color is a dull yellow (I knew Ivory would be more yellow than Rose, and I intentionally bought Ivory to cover redness, but it's still excessively dull and yellow). The reviewer seems disappointed with Banila Co's new moisture cushion, finding it inferior to the original Ultimate White Cushion. They highlight issues with thickness, oiliness, and an unflattering yellow tone, suggesting the product fails to meet expectations for a hydrating winter option. I've been using this for about a year, and with good amount control and when my skin is in good condition (no dead skin cells or blemishes), it works wonders. After a thorough basic skincare routine, this product makes my complexion look absolutely stunning. It does tend to settle into smile lines, but even as oil comes through, it still looks beautiful without touch-ups! When my skin is a bit dehydrated, applying this product leads to noticeable pore emphasis after some time. It also doesn't adhere well during application. This product seems to work best on well-hydrated, properly prepped skin. For optimal results, ensure your skin is moisturized and exfoliated before application. On good skin days, it provides a flawless finish that lasts, even without touch-ups. At first, I was a bit worried it might apply too thickly, but as time passed, it became more natural-looking. It lasts all day, doesn't dry out my skin, and I'm really happy with it. No darkening issues here! I've received so many compliments on how beautiful my skin looks since I started using this. People keep saying my complexion appears healthier. The best part? My makeup doesn't budge or separate. Even if there's a bit of wear throughout the day, it fades gracefully. I've noticed I need to touch up my makeup less frequently now. Oh, and the product volume is generous compared to other cushions! Honestly, I can't think of any significant downsides. The coverage is so good, you'll look perfectly fine even after a night of drinking. It wears gracefully over time and seems to minimize the appearance of dead skin cells. In my case, I didn't experience any significant blemishes. It seems to cause a bit of darkening. I've been using the Banila Co Covericious Ultimate White Cushion Moisture in 21 Ivory as my daily go-to lately. I used the Covericious Cushion 21 Rose during winter, but for summer, I wanted a more hydrated look, so I opted for the Moisture version. (I'm using the Moisture Ivory refill in my White Cushion Rose case, which is why the case is white.) As you can see in the photo, the left side of my wrist is bare, while the right side is applied with the product. You'll notice how naturally it blends into the skin. I have a slightly fair complexion, but not extremely pale - more of a medium tone. For those with a similar skin tone that's neither too light nor too dark, the 21 Ivory shade should be perfect for a natural look. These days, I can just apply sunscreen and this cushion before heading out. It gives my skin such a dewy appearance that I highly recommend it as a daily essential. I'd suggest this to anyone looking for good coverage without multiple layers and a natural-looking finish. Compared to the regular Covericious White Cushion I've used before, the coverage is slightly less impressive. Also, after some time, my skin tends to look a bit dull, requiring touch-ups. Apart from these points, it applies smoothly and gives a natural, hydrated finish, so I'm still enjoying using this product. Since the coverage is a bit light, it works well with a concealer on areas you want more coverage. After applying regular foundation, you can dab a bit of this on areas where you want extra hydration for a dewier look. The compact case is cute and pretty. That's about it. I can't find anything else to recommend since this product didn't work for me. Oh... I don't like it at all. Of course, it might vary depending on individual skin types, but it's completely unsuitable for me. There's no feeling of adherence to the skin, and it just sits on top. As a result, it smears off with the slightest touch, and it doesn't provide good coverage either. I gave up after using it for two days, and it's still sitting untouched.
