Absorbs well, doesn't irritate the eyes, and the white cast disappears quickly, allowing for a natural brightening effect. No particular downsides. The sun protection isn't extremely strong, so I tend to layer it with other products. - cf*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessMay 23, 2025
I've been using this as a gift, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. The brightening moisturizer does its job well - it's not too white, nor does it fail to work. The texture isn't too heavy, and it has a surprising amount of hydration. Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with the formula. After a while, it leaves a white cast. That's a bit of a downside, and it tends to make my skin feel dry after some time. - si****************Oily SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessApr 29, 2025
I got it at a great price, and being a Beyond product, the fragrance is lovely. When you layer it or rub the applied area, it pills and can sometimes cause skin irritation. It doesn't spread evenly, which is disappointing overall. Rather than applying multiple thin layers, I recommend applying an adequate amount and spreading it before it dries. - ho*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 29, 2025
Natural brightening effect, snagged it for a bargain price of $4.90 during a sale It pills and clumps like dead skin cells, and the brightening effect doesn't last very long - ne*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 12, 2025
For combination dehydrated skin, this brightening moisturizer strikes a balance. Too much nourishment can lead to blemishes, while too little results in dry skin. It has a natural color and glow for a tone-up cream. It tends to clump and pill, even getting stuck in pores. At first, I thought it might be due to my skincare routine, but it seems to be the product itself. While it gives a nice complexion (as someone who finishes with sunscreen), I've tried various methods to make it work, but haven't found the perfect solution yet. It provides a glow, but causes severe dryness. Avoid applying too much skincare underneath. Let your base products absorb fully before using this. Apply it gradually in thin layers, patting it in gently over time. Avoid the eyebrows when applying (clumping in the eyebrows seems impossible to fix no matter what you try). - lo********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2025
It's a pink mineral sunscreen. When applied, it brightens the skin, giving a nice tone-up effect. It really helps to make dull skin look more radiant and lively! Being a mineral sunscreen, it feels a bit thick. Even when applied on its own, there's a slight tendency for pilling later on. It doesn't seem quite suitable to use as a base before makeup. - me*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
It applies smoothly with a nice moisturizing effect. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. I love how it naturally brightens my complexion. If you don't have a solid skincare base, there might be some pilling. Other than that, I didn't find any drawbacks. - as***Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 13, 2024
I love using this because it's not too rich and since I started using it, I've stopped applying foundation! It doesn't make you look excessively pale, but evens out your complexion just right, which is my favorite part. I've used several bottles over a long period, and I didn't experience any major issues while using it. Although it's called a sunscreen, I think of it primarily as a brightening moisturizer. That's why I always make sure to apply a separate sunscreen in the layer before this one. - ls********Combination SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedJan 21, 2024
First off, I absolutely loved how natural the brightening effect was! The rich texture also adheres beautifully to the skin when applied with a puff, which really enhances the staying power. Perhaps because I have dry skin, it tended to sit on top of my face and clump during winter. The thick consistency made it challenging to apply with fingers. If you have dry skin, try mixing it with a hydrating sunscreen! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2024
It applies easily and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. The brightening effect looks natural too. It can be a bit drying and may occasionally pill. I avoid applying it to areas like eyebrows. For better adherence, apply this after your emulsion has almost fully absorbed into the skin.
