First off, there were no issues with cleansing effectiveness or blemishes. Even when using the shampoo alone, my hair didn't tangle or become stiff. It was pretty decent overall. I bought it because people said it smelled good, but it wasn't a scent I particularly enjoyed. It's just... okay. It's not your typical shampoo fragrance, but rather the authentic salon smell. If you're a fan of that salon shampoo scent, you might want to give this a try. The product seems to perform well in terms of cleansing and maintaining hair texture. However, the scent might be divisive, appealing more to those who enjoy the distinctive aroma found in hair salons. - ds*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 28, 2025
This product is great for those with sensitive scalps. I love the ylang-ylang fragrance! Keep in mind that this is specifically for the scalp, not for making your hair soft. - se*****************Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityJun 15, 2025
The fragrance is truly delightful, It lathers up nicely, And after drying, my hair doesn't feel overly stiff. I was shocked to find harmful sulfates listed as the second and third ingredients! Right after water, there's sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate, which really surprised me. My hair salon owner sells this shampoo, And gave me a 100ml sample to try and buy if I liked it. But after checking the ingredients, I won't be purchasing it. While the shampoo has some pleasant qualities, the presence of potentially irritating sulfates so high on the ingredient list is concerning for those with sensitive skin or who prefer more natural formulations. It's always important to check product ingredients, especially when it comes to items recommended by professionals, as personal skin needs can vary greatly. - az******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 1, 2025
First off, this is great for those with oily scalps! It lathers up nicely, and if you leave the foam on for a bit before rinsing, it feels refreshingly cool! Unlike other products for oily hair that strip away all the oils, this one doesn't leave your hair feeling stiff, which is fantastic! It doesn't completely eliminate oiliness, so those with extremely oily or dry scalps might not find it particularly beneficial. This shampoo strikes a good balance for oily scalps without over-drying. It cleanses effectively while maintaining the natural oil and moisture balance of your hair. The cooling sensation adds a nice touch to the washing experience. However, it may not be strong enough for those with very oily hair or suitable for those with dry scalps. - ag*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
I have thick, wavy hair and a dry scalp. That's why products with strong cleansing power often leave my scalp feeling parched. 1. The shampoo has a salon-like fragrance and produces a rich lather, which I love. My hair rolls and detangles nicely with the foam. 2. It's moisturizing, but different from Dove's smoothness. It cleanses the scalp thoroughly while keeping it somewhat hydrated, which is helping to eliminate my dry scalp dandruff. As a result, my hair feels moisturized and my scalp feels fresh. 3. After drying, my hair becomes more manageable than usual. If you're looking for volume, you might not like this. However, as someone with wavy hair, I'm satisfied. 4. The bottle is generously sized! No blemishes, the scent is subtle, and so far I haven't found anything to complain about. After shampooing, make sure to thoroughly cleanse areas where shampoo might have touched - like your forehead, around your ears, and neck - with a facial cleanser to prevent potential blemishes. - sj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
It lathers up nicely and has a pleasant scent. I first bought it at a salon, tried it, and have been using it consistently ever since. There's nothing I dislike about it. I just hope they don't discontinue it. - cr**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 6, 2025
I started using this a couple of days ago, and first off, the scent is truly wonderful as I've heard. I usually dislike artificial fragrances, but this one is genuinely aromatic. It lathers well even with just a small amount, and I love how gentle it feels. While it feels soft during shampooing, right after rinsing my hair feels a bit stiff. Interestingly, once I blow-dry my hair, it becomes soft again. - mi**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 1, 2025
First off, the scent is absolutely incredible, and you can see an immediate improvement in your hair texture There's nothing to dislike about it. When I run out, I'll definitely be buying another one! - cg*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2024
I first tried this at the salon and loved it, so I've been using it ever since. It's mildly acidic with good cleansing effectiveness, and I like how gentle and versatile it is. There's nothing particularly negative to say. Fortunately, it's become easier to find these days, which is great for someone like me who uses it regularly. If you find the cleansing effectiveness or sensation lacking, you can mix it with another shampoo for a more thorough wash. - je*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 27, 2024
I bought this shampoo because I loved the fragrance and effectiveness of the treatment from the same line, and importantly, it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. You only need a small amount to create a rich lather. Since using it, my scalp feels more hydrated and I've noticed less dead skin cells. The scent is amazing - floral? fruity? I absolutely adore it! Please don't discontinue this product! There's honestly nothing to criticize. I can't think of a single flaw. You absolutely must try this! Here's my hair washing routine: Before shampooing, I always brush my hair. Then I wet my hair, dispense the right amount of shampoo, and work it into a lather in my hands. I massage it slowly into my scalp (using fingertips, not nails, to avoid irritating the scalp). Finally, I use a scalp massager from the temples to the nape - it's heavenly! It's crucial to rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. That's my top tip for you!
