It feels like it's smoothing out wrinkles and seems more effective than the 0.1% version. It also absorbs well into the skin. If you use too much, it definitely causes a tingling sensation and redness. I've been using COSRX Retinol 0.1% for a long time, but at some point, I felt like its effectiveness was diminishing, so I decided to step up to 0.3%. Concerned about potential blemishes due to the higher retinol concentration, I initially applied small amounts to specific areas. Now, I'm using it all over my face daily. In the mornings, I notice my skin texture becoming smoother, and it feels like my skin's contours are more even. I apply the retinol after my toner, essence, and moisturizer. The combination of these products needs to work well together to minimize any tightness. Otherwise, the dryness can cause significant deep dryness. This is an item I buy and use regularly! When I was using it consistently, I didn't notice much difference. But when I had to stop during pregnancy, I really saw how my skin changed without it. Although I don't have wrinkles yet, I tried it as a pore management measure, and the difference in pore size between the period of using and not using the product is definite, so it is a product that I use consistently. It is good that it does not require refrigeration and that the package itself is designed to prevent rancidity. The odor may be perceived as somewhat unpleasant, but it gets absorbed and becomes unnoticeable over time. The texture is rich but absorbs well. It's not too oily, and even with my dry skin, it felt good. Of course, I still need to layer with other products. I'm very interested in retinol, so I started with a low concentration and gradually increased it. Maybe that's why I didn't experience any redness, tingling, or peeling (I apply it every other day). It seems to have an excellent effect on fine lines, and I feel like it's really helping, so I'll continue using it consistently. Well... I can't really think of any downsides. I recommend it. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that COSRX's retinol is manufactured by AmorePacific. I've heard great things about AmorePacific's retinol, so it's fantastic to be able to try a similar product at a more affordable price point. It's not so much a disappointment as a word of caution... Even though I've been consistently using 0.1% retinol, I still felt some irritation when applying the 0.3% around my eye area where the skin is delicate. If you have sensitive skin, please use this product with care.
