Daisy Kiss is famous for their eyeshadows and lipsticks, so I wondered if their cushion foundation would be any good. Turns out, it's not bad at all! I have combination dehydrated skin, and matte cushions tend to look patchy on me, so I was searching for a hydrating option. When I saw this one on sale, I immediately bought it, and I'm quite satisfied! It's my first time using a mesh-type cushion, and I think I made a good choice! When I first applied it, it went on so thinly that I wasn't sure if it was actually covering anything. It doesn't completely hide blemishes, though. While I appreciate the hydrating aspect, it's disappointing that it doesn't conceal blemishes well. Also, due to the nature of mesh cushions, I'm a bit concerned about dust accumulating on it. I always use this cushion with a concealer. That way, I can cover blemishes while keeping my skin hydrated. - a0**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedJun 27, 2025
I've been using this for almost a month now, and the complexion match is spot-on. It's perfect for those with skin types ranging from dry to combination. My skin falls between combination and dry. While it doesn't pill if I prep my skin well, it tends to fade later on. The coverage is also a bit lacking. Make sure to properly prepare your skin before applying. - ma*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedMay 10, 2025
I highly recommend this for those who love achieving a natural dewy or Inner Glow complexion! It applies like a second skin, perfect for those who dislike heavy makeup. There was minimal transfer, no pilling, and almost no darkening. For someone like me who adores that radiant skin look, this is my holy grail cushion! While it's great for a natural look, it's not particularly high coverage. I wouldn't recommend it for those looking to conceal blemishes or achieve full coverage. Also, if you're not a fan of a dewy finish, this might not be for you. It's best suited for those who love glowing skin and a natural appearance! Using this with the ToRiDen ampoule creates an absolutely stunning dewy, Inner Glow effect! The ToRiDen ampoule and this cushion are a match made in heaven. I can't recommend this combination enough! - xx**********Dry SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2025
It's incredibly thin and looks natural! Great for easy application, perfect for those with already good skin. It's so thin that it sometimes feels like you've only applied a brightening moisturizer. - my***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 28, 2025
The Daisy Dew Gel Cushion Coolology has a beautiful color payoff. It's a radiant ivory shade that suits cool skin tones perfectly. I love how it adheres well to the skin, giving a smooth appearance. The formula is 'matte but moisturized,' placing it in the semi-matte cushion category. Unlike some gel cushions, it doesn't leak in your bag, which is great. The cushion case is simple yet bright, which I appreciate. It applies thinly and evenly due to its excellent adherence. It's disappointing that the Daisy Dew Gel Cushion doesn't come with a refill. As it's a semi-matte formula, those with dry skin should ensure their skin is well-hydrated in the preparatory stages. The coverage is somewhat lacking, so a concealer is a must. I frequently use this for touch-ups when fixing my makeup. After applying concealer, it's great for brightening specific areas like the forehead, cheeks, nose bridge, and chin during makeup application, giving a radiant finish. - yu********Dry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2025
Highly recommended for those who prefer a natural makeup look. It doesn't seem to cause any darkening of the skin. The coverage isn't very high, and it tends to separate on the skin. To be honest, with so many other great products out there, I'm not sure it's worth the price. - na*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2025
My skin is very dry, so I can't use matte products, but this one feels moisturizing and barely pills. I have sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any major pilling or blemishes. It also evens skin tone naturally. After wearing it for a while, it seems to develop a bit of an odor. The product has a distinct scent from the start, which intensifies over time. The built-in puff is slightly too large for the container. - tl******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsFeb 7, 2025
1. The cushion cases are beautiful. As you can see in the photos, there are two types - round and heart-shaped. Both have lovely colors and designs. 2. The ingredients are gentle. Out of the 20 caution ingredients and allergy warning ingredients combined, only 3 are present. Just 3 show up in the 20 caution ingredients section. As I've always mentioned in my reviews, if 4 or fewer ingredients appear from both the 20 caution ingredients and allergy warning ingredients lists combined, it's considered to have gentle ingredients. This product only has 3, so it falls into the gentle category. To be honest, there were more disappointing aspects than I expected. I bought this after testing it at the Dasique Seongsu store, and even though I was quite disappointed during the test, I still purchased it because the heart-shaped cushion was so cute. 1. Poor value for money. The regular price is 34,000 won for a single 15g product without a refill. Even with discounts bringing it down to 23,800 won, it still feels expensive compared to other cushions on the market that offer better performance and come with both the main product and a refill for 25,000-28,000 won. 2. Too oily. Even though my skin type is normal or combination, it feels excessively greasy. 3. Poor coverage. It doesn't cover blemishes or dark spots at all. 4. The puff doesn't work well with the product. I threw it away after one use because it's circular instead of teardrop-shaped, making it difficult to apply around the nose and smile lines. It also lacks good adherence. 5. Unpleasant fragrance. It has a cool floral scent that I personally dislike, which makes me reluctant to use it continuously. 6. Due to the poor coverage and puff compatibility, the staying power is also lacking. 7. It's not a true pink base. As I've always mentioned in my cushion reviews, I prefer a true pink base. This product looked like one when I tested it in-store, but it's actually more ambiguous. Referring to the swatches on the wrist, I prefer the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shades from the top, but this product is closer to the first shade, appearing slightly beige in the swatch but with a noticeable white cast in reality. Overall, I'm quite disappointed and gave it 2 points. I was particularly let down by the fragrance, the fact that it's not a true pink base, and how oily it is. - g9******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRednessDead Skin CellsFeb 2, 2025
It does provide hydration, but I'm a bit concerned that the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. Some cushions can cause blemishes if not used properly, and unfortunately this one does. Cushions that have caused blemishes for me include Espoir Be Glow Volum, while cushions that didn't cause issues include YSL Encre de Peau. At first, I thought it might be the puff, so I tried applying with a new one, but the blemishes still appeared (sigh). - dk**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedNov 28, 2024
It absorbs so well, making it perfect for those with delicate skin! Highly recommended for anyone with thin or sensitive skin. Unfortunately, the coverage is a bit lacking. It didn't conceal facial redness as much as I had hoped.
