The colors blend beautifully together. The base shades seem like ones I'll use frequently. The larger size of those shades makes them convenient to use. The case is quite sturdy, which makes it a bit heavy. Other than that, I really like it. - le*********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 5, 2024
Shades 17-19 with light undertones offer an elegant, subtle color palette perfect for sophisticated makeup looks. The harmonious blend of soft pink and beige tones creates a versatile look suitable for any occasion. The texture is noticeably superior to other palettes, with subtle shimmer that adds a refined glow rather than an overpowering sparkle. This palette is incredibly versatile, allowing you to create everything from a basic eye look to a dramatic smoky eye with accent liner. If you're looking for bold pigmentation and a glamorous New Year's Eve makeup look, you might find the color intensity a bit underwhelming. - ze**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 17, 2024
I've used the red-brown shade from the same line and loved it, but this new Soft Nude palette seems even more versatile with its muted, lighter tones. The top two shades are my favorites - perfect for a base and basic contouring, with a slightly cool undertone in the neutral range. When you're short on time or want a subtle look, these two are all you need for a quick swipe. The third shade is a matte pearl that pairs beautifully with 1 and 2 for an elegant look. For warmer eye makeup, you could use 6 as a base and blend 4 into the crease for a lovely gradient. Overall, there's not a single shade I wouldn't use - it's a practical palette. If I were to do my makeup using just this palette, I'd mainly stick to shades 1-3 and maybe add a single dark shade for eyeliner blending. That's how perfect the 1-3 line is for everyday wear. What really stands out is the powder quality! It applies smoothly without clumping, blending seamlessly for natural gradients. The colors aren't too intense, making it ideal for sophisticated, subtle eye looks. I also love how they made the base color pans larger! This palette is great for makeup beginners who want a polished look without needing multiple palettes or advanced skills. It's perfect for creating subtle, refined eye makeup. Shade 4 seems a bit out of place compared to 1-3. It looks cool-toned in the pan but swatches as a warmer brown than expected. It's not that it's unattractive - it's a decent contouring brown - but it's different from how it appears in the pan. (The swatch photo might look warmer due to natural lighting.) The highlighter (shade 5) is also a warm gold tone, which doesn't quite mesh with the cooler tones of 1-3. However, you can always use it separately, so it's not a major issue.
