It's gentle and absorbs well. I have normal skin, and it absorbs nicely, making it suitable for all skin types without causing irritation. I bought this product for my mom who's been struggling with dark spots. She applies it every night, and while there hasn't been a dramatic change, she says the spots seem to have faded a bit! The absorption is on the slower side, so it's best to apply it only to the problem areas. I only used it at night and didn't experience any blemishes. However, I'm not quite sure about its effectiveness. The disappointing part is that I received it as a sample, so I can't really tell how effective it is.
