After applying it, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation. I have extremely dry skin, so I need to feel a certain level of richness, and this serum was just perfect in that regard! It's a heavier serum that really satisfied my skin's needs. Of course, this alone didn't provide complete hydration - I had to apply an even richer, thicker cream afterwards for full moisturizing effects. I remember waking up with noticeably smoother skin after generously applying this product before bed. It felt like my skin texture had been refined. That's why I was really satisfied with it. The scent is quite peculiar... It's hard to describe, but it has a somewhat astringent smell. It's like a squeaky clean scent. It's really unique! I first tried a mini sample from Olive Young, then bought the full-size product. The next day after using it, my skin texture is genuinely amazing. It's marketed as a cool-tone serum, but honestly, I can't say I notice any brightening... However, my skin becomes incredibly soft... It's an extremely hydrating serum with quite a rich feel. Even though I have very dry skin, a small amount is enough. If you have oily skin, you could probably use this instead of a moisturizer.
