But with consistent care, that feeling has disappeared. (I still produce enough oil that I can't just rinse with water in the morning.) In spring, fall, and winter, I used it morning and night daily. Now in summer, I only use it at night along with retinol. If you use it consistently, you'll definitely see improvements. Personally, I'm grateful to Jayna for this product. Those with oily skin might find it heavy! But once you apply it, it doesn't actually feel that way. The texture is quite rich, but it doesn't feel heavy after application. (It's surprising!) So don't apply too much at once. This product was created by the YouTuber who first introduced me to skincare, and it's so beneficial for my skin barrier that I'm already on my second jar. I've even switched all my other cosmetics to this layering line. When my skin texture becomes rough and uneven, nothing works better than this. It's the perfect cream for strengthening your skin barrier with an ideal ratio of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids! The opaque container makes it difficult to see how much product is left. I need to stock up in advance before it runs out, so that's a bit inconvenient. Other than that, I have no complaints. This product absorbs beautifully and sinks into the skin effortlessly. It seems suitable for all skin types and can be used year-round, regardless of the season. The absorbs well is fantastic! Knowing how crucial the skin barrier is, I'm obsessed with protecting it. After my skin was irritated from retinol, applying this cream thickly before bed made it feel better by morning. Even when I use a heavy serum underneath, this cream manages to control some of the excess shine. It's so well-formulated that you can use it in summer too. For spring, fall, and winter, it's great to layer it a few times. It absorbs nicely. Not too heavy and has just the right amount of richness. For a cream, the hydration is too weak. You can't solve your moisture needs with this alone. My skin barrier was compromised during winter, causing stinging and deep dryness. I purchased this along with Layerlab's panthenol ampoule, and it definitely helped improve the stinging sensation and deep dryness. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I was worried it might be too heavy, but it wasn't heavy or sticky at all, making me reach for it often. While it's fragrance-free, it has a subtle scent reminiscent of Anytime candy, which I personally enjoyed. There weren't any downsides, but I'll need to use it through summer to determine if it feels heavy in warmer weather. It doesn't pill before makeup, keeps skin moisturized without any greasiness. After about two weeks of use, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin the next day. The product volume is small, and for someone with dry skin like me, I feel I need to apply it twice to get enough coverage. My skin type is combination dehydrated, occasionally prone to mild inflammatory acne. The texture is slightly thick, and it doesn't spread easily in one go - you need to pat it in several times for good absorption. After application, there's a definite feeling of a protective layer on the skin. It might be too heavy for summer use. In the morning, I notice slight dryness around my eyes, so I've been layering it two or three times in that area.
