After showering, just wipe your face with the swab, and there's enough left to apply to your neck and body. With my super sensitive skin, I sometimes experience peeling or blemishes when using high-concentration products. However, my first impression of this product was that it's gentle! While I felt a slight tingling sensation on the thin skin around my chin and lips, overall, I found it to be a gentle exfoliation. Although I didn't see dramatic results after just one use, it definitely met the expectations I typically have for exfoliating products. The cotton swab-shaped applicator was generously sized as advertised, allowing me to quickly and easily care for my entire face and neck area with just a few swipes. However, there were a couple of downsides. The solution tends to drip easily when saturating the applicator, which can be messy. Also, the instructions suggest applying the remaining solution like a toner, but the amount left over is somewhat awkward - not quite enough for multiple uses, yet too much for a single application. Since this isn't a product meant for daily use, it felt like some product was being wasted, which was disappointing. While it was effective for exfoliating dead skin cells, I didn't notice significant improvement in clearing blackheads, whiteheads, or pores. It's convenient to use the large cotton swab applicator instead of having to rub the peeling gel directly on my skin. As someone who's used products with up to 20% AHA, I didn't find this particularly harsh on my skin, which was great. There's nothing specifically disappointing about using it, but if I had to pick something, maybe the price? Despite expecting it to be harsh, it didn't irritate my skin at all. In fact, it left my skin feeling much more hydrated than anticipated, giving it a plump, bouncy effect. I even tried it right before applying makeup, and it didn't sensitize my skin. It effectively removed dead skin cells and provided such great hydration that my makeup went on flawlessly. (My skin was in top condition that day - usually my cushion foundation starts to separate after 5 hours, but this time it didn't budge at all!) If you're looking for effective chemical exfoliation, I highly recommend this. 1. Hydration Given that it's an exfoliating product, I expected it to leave my skin feeling dry rather than moisturized. However, it was incredibly hydrating, leaving my skin feeling plump and elastic. 2. Skin Sensitivity I've tried many skincare products containing AHA, BHA, and PHA exfoliating ingredients, but never saw significant results. As a result, I usually relied on wash-off masks for physical exfoliation once or twice a month. Even with those, I'd feel some irritation from the scrub particles. This product, however, is applied with a cotton swab, making it much gentler on the skin. 3. Exfoliation As mentioned, chemical exfoliants hadn't been very effective for me in the past, which is why I relied on physical exfoliation. This product combines both chemical and physical exfoliation, and I could really feel the difference in how well it removed dead skin cells. While I personally was satisfied, those with extremely sensitive skin should do a patch test before use. (I have sensitive skin myself, but didn't experience any blemishes.) There's a generous amount of essence inside, so you can use it for a DIY sheet mask by soaking 3 cotton pads. I've never experienced any issues with the ingredients after use. Texture: It has a water-like consistency, typical of a regular toner. Scent: There's a hint of a natural fragrance, but it's practically unscented. Effects: I kept seeing Instagram ads for this product and was really curious. Personally, it exceeded my expectations! I usually only exfoliate occasionally with a powder wash since it can be harsh, but this is even gentler while being more effective. After exfoliating, my skin has a radiant glow, and the next day it feels super smooth! I've been using the Hidif toner well, and the Clean Kit suits me too. There's a generous amount of toner, so you can apply it liberally. I also liked that it felt slightly moisturizing even though it's just a toner step. If you have dry, blemish-prone skin, you should definitely give this a try! There weren't many downsides, but the large amount of toner means some might go to waste, which is a bit disappointing. Due to the large volume, it tends to leak a bit if you lay it down for a moment. Also, Hidif products generally seem to suit dry, blemish-prone skin, so those with oily skin might find it a bit rich. Plus, as a student, the price is a little steep for me. It's probably best to use this about once a week. While it's a gentle product, rubbing too hard could cause irritation. Use it by gently rolling a cotton swab over your skin.
