This next-gen retinol is truly gentle on the skin with no irritation. It's remarkably effective for pores, making it perfect for those who've been curious about retinol but hesitated due to the harsh nature or texture of traditional formulas. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to dip their toes into the retinol world without the usual drawbacks! There's not much to criticize, honestly. The only thing I noticed is a slight film-like feeling after application, which is likely due to the 10% niacinamide content. However, this is pretty typical for high-concentration niacinamide products, so it's more of an observation than a real complaint. Overall, this product seems to strike a great balance between effectiveness and gentleness, making it a fantastic option for those new to retinol or with sensitive skin. The high niacinamide content is an added bonus for improving overall skin health and appearance. - dy******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2025
I finally tried retinol! Bought this because it's supposed to be gentle. Got the small 30ml size. The texture and application feel very similar to the Anua PDRN ampoule. It's a water-based formula but has a slightly oily feel, and leaves a nice, firm finish that makes skin look smooth. After using a pad and removing it, I applied this alone and didn't feel any dryness. For my combination skin, it works well on its own. Half a dropper is plenty. Since it contains retinol, I don't layer other products with it. So far, absolutely no irritation. I've heard retinol can be harsh, but this lower concentration seems fine. Could probably use it daily, but I'll stick to nighttime application. Retinol is supposedly an expensive ingredient, so this feels reasonably priced when on sale. Is 30ml the trendy size now? Please give us 50ml! Seems like a good starter retinol product. Honestly, it just feels like a hydrating ampoule. Not recommended for those who dislike the lingering firm finish. The formula is water-based but has an oily quality to it. - ki************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 24, 2025
Wow! I absolutely don't regret buying this. Although I haven't used it for a full month yet, I've been using it since June 14th, and the results are visibly noticeable. My skin's elasticity and texture have improved significantly, and the depth and size of my pores have noticeably decreased. This is the first product I've used that shows such quick results without irritating my skin. While it's more hydrating than other pore serums or retinol ampoules, you might find it lacks sufficient moisture during winter or seasonal changes. - dm*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2025
It's great that you can use this gentle retinol both morning and evening. Plus, it contains niacinamide, making it effective for brightening too! With its non-sticky absorbs, I recommend it for both oily and dry skin types. While it doesn't cause blemishes, if you have dry skin, you might want to layer it with a serum for better results. - pn********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 30, 2025
Reason for purchase: To be honest, I've always been scared of retinol and avoided using it (my skin type: oily with pigmentation and large pores). So I was looking for a product that could address these issues. When I saw that samples were being sold separately at the drugstore, I decided to give it a try. I've had good experiences with Numbuzin toner and pads before, so I was curious about this new product as well. What I loved most is that it didn't cause any blemishes. I was cautious and used only small amounts! I divided one drop (about the size of artificial tears) into two applications. I read some reviews mentioning irritation, so I only used it at night. But so far, it seems fine even with continuous use. I had a large pimple forming on my jawline below my cheek (before using this product), and I felt like it calmed down quickly...! I also feel like other areas of pigmentation have become lighter than before. I'll update you again after I finish the whole product! There's nothing particularly bad to mention. It doesn't leave a lingering scent. The water-like texture is so light you might wonder if it's just water, but it works well if you apply it properly. There's a slight... grittiness that appears if you pat it in, so I just gently smooth it over my skin instead. The product seems to work hard on addressing multiple skin concerns simultaneously. It's especially beneficial for those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin. The formula appears to balance oil and moisture while targeting blemishes, uneven skin tone, and large pores. For those worried about irritation or burning sensations often associated with retinol products, this seems to be a gentler option. Remember to layer it properly in your skincare routine for best results, and always patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergic reactions. - rd********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 23, 2025
- I used this when my skin suddenly flared up after being in good condition for a while, and I felt my skin improving rapidly. - The texture is watery and flows easily. - It contains 10% niacinamide, which helps not only with pores but also with brightening. - There's a slightly sweet scent to it. - You might find it difficult to apply due to its watery consistency.
