Deeply hydrating and moisturizing. Once the emulsion absorbs into the skin, it leaves it feeling soft and smooth. Even with my super sensitive skin, this buddy didn't cause any blemishes. None!! However, the scent isn't particularly pleasant - it's more like unscented or something similar. But since it moisturizes so well, it might be worth using if you can overlook that. - vi**********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 29, 2023
Your skin feels softer after just one application. Even if you skip a day or two, your skin doesn't get overly dry. It doesn't absorb well, leaving a somewhat heavy feeling on the skin. Other than that, there's not much else to say... - id******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2023
I've been using this gentle product for a long time after it was recommended to me. It's great for applying to dry areas and comes in a generous amount! It seems to create a protective layer on the skin as it absorbs slowly, almost like a coating. Once it's fully absorbed, it leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth - a lovely finish! The ingredients list could be better, so I might try the reformulated version next time. The scent when applying is somewhat reminiscent of grains or something you'd smell in a silo - not exactly pleasant. However, it dissipates quickly, so that's a plus. I'd recommend using this on dry areas of the body. You'll need to wait a bit for it to fully absorb before your skin feels truly moisturized. It seems to have better absorbs than petroleum jelly when applied to dry areas like legs or arms! - gr**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 11, 2023
The moment I look forward to most after a shower is applying Aveeno. With its gentle ingredients, soothing subtle grain scent, and powerful hydration, it's a true treat for the skin. While I also enjoy Cetaphil, Aveeno seems to provide slightly better moisture. The absorbs well, though if I had to compare, it's a tad thicker than Cetaphil, giving it a richer feel. I honestly can't think of any downsides, no matter how hard I try. There's simply nothing negative to say about this product. If absorption is your priority, go for Cetaphil. But if you're after the ultimate hydration experience, Aveeno is your best bet! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 6, 2023
I loved how smoothly it applied. The emulsion texture is great. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and pleasantly coated, and the effect lasts for a long time. It feels a bit heavy for summer use. I use it comfortably in all seasons except summer. - hi****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 23, 2023
Aveeno's body wash and body emulsion products seem to be consistently good choices. You can also buy large sizes at a great price from Costco. The moisturizing power and scent are both satisfactory. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but in summer it can feel a bit sticky, so I use an emulsion with more hydration during that time. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2022
Great value for money! The texture is just right - not too thick, not too runny. It's perfect for use year-round, except maybe at the height of summer. The scent, while hard to pinpoint exactly, is personally very satisfying. It also provides good hydration! As you can see in the second photo, the consistency is such that it doesn't drip or run. There's not much to complain about... However, it might not provide enough hydration for those with very dry skin in the dead of winter. Also, the fragrance might be a hit or miss for some people. After showering and drying off completely, I massage it all over my body. It feels like I'm getting a spa treatment! - ai*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedNov 17, 2022
As the weather gets colder, even though I have oily skin, it feels dry underneath. I felt one aloe product alone wouldn't be enough, so I bought this thinking it could work for both face and body. Perhaps due to the oatmeal ingredient, my flaky skin no longer feels dry. It's really great for hydration! While the oatmeal ingredient is good for combating dryness, unlike the purple or grapefruit variants from the same line which didn't cause any blemishes in the wash or emulsion, this one didn't agree with me. There must be an ingredient that doesn't suit my skin, as I had to stop using it on both face and body after just a few uses. It's a shame. If this product works for you, I think using it along with the body wash would be even more effective. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than extremely oily skin like mine. - ye*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 5, 2022
I've been using this emulsion for about 6 years now! I've been using it since I was really young, and I think it moisturizes really well. However, when I wash my face in the morning, I can still feel it on my skin, so it might not absorb that well for my skin type (for reference, I have combination dehydrated skin). When applied to the body, it seems to prevent dry, cracked skin! During winter or seasonal changes when it's dry, I slather it on generously. I didn't know it had potentially harmful ingredients until now, but I think it will continue to be a product I'm attached to! Especially since a friend with atopic dermatitis says it's the only emulsion that works for them. I hope you'll give it a try! Not recommended for those with extremely oily skin. Highly recommended for those with dry skin! Don't apply it too thickly! After applying, gently pat it into your skin! Spread it evenly along your skin texture! - rl**********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 18, 2022
After showering, I needed an emulsion to apply all over my body, and I loved that this came in a large size so I could use it generously without worry. The generous amount and hydrating effect were great. It kept me moisturized all day long with a smooth application that absorbed quickly without any stickiness. Some body emulsions can feel uncomfortably sticky, but this one left my skin feeling hydrated and fresh, which I absolutely adored. Particularly, the oatmeal prebiotics help maintain healthy skin by balancing pH and skin equilibrium, and it's said to be gentle even on sensitive skin. My skin is extremely sensitive, but I never experienced any tingling or itching with this product. Instead, it seemed to strengthen my skin barrier, leaving my skin soft. The scent wasn't overpowering either, so I could apply it comfortably (it has a subtle fragrance). I'm so satisfied with it that I can't find any downsides to mention. I recommend this for those with dry skin, skin that often feels tight or dry, and sensitive skin prone to irritation.
