The ointment-like texture wasn't a major issue since I only used a tiny amount. I did notice a slight tightening sensation on my skin. The menthol ingredient seemed to cause a bit of irritation and a burning sensation, but I see it's been discontinued now... - Hwahae UserOily SkinFeb 8, 2019
This is fascinating! My mom received it as a gift. It seems to give the face some firmness. I've only been using it for 3 days so far. You really only need to apply a tiny amount, just a light layer over your cream. I don't think this would be suitable for those with super sensitive skin or frequent blemishes... Don't apply it around the eyes. The ingredients feel quite potent. So while it might have anti-aging benefits, it comes with some caveats. You can use it morning or night, it doesn't matter. Apply a very small amount once a day. Do not apply around the eye area. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2018
I love how it feels firm when applying and seems to improve the appearance of wrinkles When applying, it feels a bit harsh and intense on the skin. Other than that, it seems good - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2018
Instead of using it for lifting, I apply a pea-sized amount all over my face when I feel like blemishes are about to appear or are already forming. (Using too much could be harmful due to excess menthol.) This definitely clears up any emerging blemishes. In my regular routine, I apply about half a pea-sized amount three times a week after washing my face, while my skin is still damp. It really prevents blemishes from appearing. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it! It's not really a downside, but due to the menthol content, using it too much or every day could lead to overuse! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedOct 21, 2018
It seems to slightly smooth out fine lines. It applies well and absorbs nicely into the skin. The cooling sensation makes my eyes feel a bit irritated. I noticed menthol in the ingredients list. Using this alone leaves my skin feeling too tight, so I need to layer it with an essence or hydrating cream. - yu********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 2, 2018
Among all the wrinkle creams I've tried, this is the only one that's given me dramatic results. I'm the type who easily furrows my brow even in mild sunlight, which led to deep '11' lines between my eyebrows. I was really worried about it, so I decided to give this product a try. After consistent use, I noticed my wrinkles becoming less noticeable, and I've been using it for years now! The texture feels rich, but it doesn't leave an oily finish when applied. Once it absorbs, it just feels fresh? It works well even for my oily skin! There's a slight burning sensation when you apply it. I checked the product description, and it says that's normal and temporary. In reality, you feel it for a moment after application, but it goes away quickly. It's great to use as a neck cream too, not just for your face! However, I've heard that using high-performance anti-wrinkle products around the eyes can cause milia, so it might be better to use an eye-specific cream for that area. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 5, 2017
I decided to give it a try since it's incredibly affordable for an anti-aging product! Unfortunately, I didn't see the most important results, so it's hard for me to recommend it. There's no hydration at all, so you'll need to manage your skin's moisture separately. - fr*******Combination SkinNov 22, 2017
I only use this at night after toner. Since it feels a bit tight after application, I mix in about four drops of oil. I noticed some reviewers only apply it to specific areas, but I spread it all over my face and neck. Because I apply it generously like a mask, four drops of oil seem just right. It doesn't blend perfectly, though. After sleeping and just rinsing with water in the morning, my skin feels incredibly smooth and nice. I haven't noticed a reduction in wrinkles yet, but my skin does feel lifted. I think I'll need to use it more to know for sure, but I plan to use it until the end. I also liked the subtle scent. My eyelids are sensitive to most products, and this one also caused some irritation. So I avoid applying it there. I do use it on the fine lines under my eyes, but no matter how gently I apply it, my vision gets a bit cloudy and I feel some discomfort after application. It doesn't make my eyes water though. Also, if I use this alone, it makes my skin feel very tight. If you're like me, you'll need to mix it with oil or layer a moisturizer on top. Since it's a functional cosmetic, if it suits your skin, it seems worth using consistently to see results. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinNov 15, 2017
It seems to be effective for wrinkles, but I think I need to use it more to be sure. It didn't cause any blemishes and helps calm my skin. There's nothing I found disappointing about it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 6, 2017
Since I'm just starting to use this product, I may not be able to provide comprehensive advice, but I'd love to share my personal experience! First off, it's a soft cream-type formula, so it has excellent absorption. A little goes a long way - you can easily spread it all over your face with just a small amount. I tried it for the first time last night, and this morning, I noticed my sagging jawline seemed slightly lifted! While it could be my imagination, or perhaps because I didn't eat late last night and had less puffiness, or a combination of factors... I really feel like this cream made a difference! For nearly a year, my biggest skin concerns have been sagging skin and a drooping jawline... This is truly the first product I've been satisfied with! The downside is... It's a cream-type product that you're supposed to apply as the first step after cleansing, which felt a bit unusual. Since it's used earlier in the routine than thinner-textured products, I noticed that my skin had trouble absorbing subsequent products like toner or emulsion. It seems like you need to be careful with how much you apply! Make sure to follow up with plenty of hydration. If you have dry skin, you'll definitely want to layer on a hydrating moisturizer afterwards! I have combination dehydrated skin, and I didn't experience much dryness.
