It applies smoothly and dries quickly. I liked that it was recommended by a YouTuber who analyzes ingredients. This product would be great for students who find other options too expensive. It peels off faster than the one I used before. As with most products of this type, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. The product seems to work hard for its price point, making it a good choice for those on a budget. It might be worth considering if you're looking for a cost-effective option that still delivers results. However, keep in mind that the quick peeling and less-than-ideal scent might be drawbacks for some users. If you have super sensitive skin, you may want to patch test first to check for any potential irritation. - gu******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 20, 2025
I bought this because of its affordable price. As you can see in the photo, it's only 1000 won. It's pretty decent overall. When I went to write this review, I found out it's been discontinued. I guess there'll be something else to replace it? I purchased it because my nails were weak. It does chip off rather quickly though. The product seems to be a nail care item, likely a nail strengthener or polish. While the reviewer appreciates its low cost, they note that it's no longer available and doesn't provide long-lasting results for weak nails. - 1h********Normal SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
As someone with weak nails, I was thrilled to find such a great product at Daiso! Honestly, I can't think of any downsides to this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedOct 30, 2023
I bought this after removing my gel nails, which left my nails peeling along the grain It shows as discontinued, but stores are still selling it! - jo******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2021
This product offers great value for money with its performance. I love how quickly it dries! The downside is that if you're not careful when drying your nails, bubbles can form, which is a bit disappointing. - 12*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 28, 2020
It's great because it's affordable. The price is budget-friendly for students. Over time, it changes color from clear to yellow. The chemical smell also becomes stronger. It's not particularly effective at strengthening nails. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2019
Even though it's supposedly discontinued, our local Daiso still sells it, so I'm writing this review. When I applied it to my cracked nails, it seemed to help! It's slightly soft, so after it dries completely and you touch it, it feels smooth and nice. It dries faster than I expected, and it really gives your nails that hardened feeling, so I'm satisfied! I didn't find any particular downsides! It solidifies quickly, and above all, it just feels good to use. After applying, you really need to keep your hands still! If you move your hands around too much, it can create bubbles or imperfections. - dm*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 3, 2018
A decent clear nail strengthener. I bought it in a hurry because my nails break often. It's pretty similar to most transparent hardening polishes you'd find anywhere. While it gives a slight feeling of protection, with nails breaking and splitting a bit less, it doesn't provide perfect protection for your nails. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 27, 2018
It seems like great value for money since you can get expensive products at a lower price here compared to other places. Even after using it, my nails still chip and the polish wears off quickly, so it looks like I'll need to reapply often. - 10******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2018
Price-wise, it's better. Since most drugstore hardeners have similar functions, I prefer the cheaper option. It doesn't get discontinued easily either. For those with nail damage from gel manicures, pricier options might be worth it. But for me, with naturally thin, easily peeling nails, I need to use it constantly, so I have to consider the cost. It doesn't give a strong impression of nail protection. But I've tried several products, and they're all similar. It's just less harsh than regular clear polish. I can't speak for the high-end products costing tens of thousands of won. The smell! Initially, there was a rubber-like, indescribable scent, but it disappeared after using it two or three times. A tip for those like me who always need to apply something due to weak nails! If you want color but are tired of just clear (though some brands offer a pink tint), here's what to do. First, you can use balsam flower dye (available at Daiso). While that's nice, it can get boring too, and we all want variety. Here's a trick using eyeshadow: Crush your desired eyeshadow color into powder, mix it well with the hardener, and apply. The catch is that the color won't be very intense even if you add a lot (always shake before use). Shimmer eyeshadows look even prettier (also available at Daiso). When applying, make sure to cover the entire nail without leaving any gaps. Gaps make it peel off easily. Paint it on thick and full!
