The color is extremely light, so I'd recommend it to those who prefer brighter shades for their complexion After a short while, it starts to settle into the pores, creating a patchy look. I was embarrassed when I realized it. You need to reapply and blend it with your fingers. It also feels quite drying on the skin - se*********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 9, 2020
This is my oily skin's favorite cushion! It applies thinly but still manages to cover minor blemishes. The subtle glow it gives is absolutely gorgeous. When I set it with powder, the staying power is incredible! Of all the base products I've used, this one had the least darkening effect. I have some smile lines, but because it applies so thinly, there's no creasing at all! The case design is also quite sleek. As a student, I find the price hard to justify. What's more, there's no refill option available...?? If you don't have severe acne, this cushion is perfect for use right now. Please, if you have the money, buy it! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 11, 2020
I've been using shade 21N. It's a bit on the brighter side. Like most thinly-applied base products, it doesn't offer much coverage. I have redness in my skin, so even after applying green concealer, it was hard to get full coverage. However, for touch-ups, the cushion itself is very lightweight and thin, making it great for portability. There's absolutely no thick application, so it's perfect for thin touch-ups! You know how thick touch-ups can make your skin look dirty? In that sense, this is so-so. This seems more suitable as a touch-up cushion!!! There are so many good cushions these days, it might be worth looking for something different. - wh********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 18, 2020
I absolutely love that it's vegan and cruelty-free! The moisturizing effect is fantastic, and it's great that it comes with two puffs. Personally, I find the slightly fluffier puff applies the product better and helps it last longer without breaking down. The slim compact design is perfect for touch-ups on the go! The longevity is similar to standard cushions, and it doesn't have any extraordinary standout features. It's really just a very average product overall. It's excellent for touch-ups throughout the day! - hy****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessNov 4, 2019
The subtle glow looks natural. I usually prefer a slightly matte finish, so I always apply powder after foundation, but with this cushion, it looks better to just leave it as is. It makes the skin appear naturally radiant. The staying power is disappointing. I prioritize longevity over coverage when choosing foundation or cushion because I dislike touch-ups, but this one's lasting power is really lacking. After just 3 hours, it starts to bunch up around the nose and lifts around the mouth. It comes with two puffs by default. There's a daily puff and a cover puff, but I found the daily puff works better for overall skin appearance. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 29, 2019
For dry/sensitive/redness-prone skin, shades 13-21. I've used Klairs' famous Mochi BB cream before. While I was satisfied, it felt a bit dark for my skin tone, which was slightly disappointing. When I heard they released a cushion, I immediately bought it! The pink undertone brightens the face, and it's wonderfully hydrating. The application is smooth and leaves a beautiful glow on the skin. It's exactly the style I love, and the coverage is quite good too. I'd say it offers medium to medium-high coverage. As expected with a hydrating, high-coverage product, there can be some pilling. Moreover, when reapplying, it tends to bunch up and feels a bit drying. So when I'm out, I often use cotton swabs or wet wipes to clean up the areas where it's pilling and touch up. Also, for some reason, it makes my skin feel slightly itchy after application. For best results and longevity, start by applying a very thin layer all over, then gradually build up coverage where needed through layering. The cushion comes with two different puffs, but I wasn't a fan of them, unfortunately. I ended up buying a puff from Olive Young to use with it, and it works perfectly! - hy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2019
I was pleasantly surprised by this cushion's light pink-tinted shade, which is quite rare. It beautifully brightens and covers a dull complexion, giving a radiant finish. The compact is also thinner than standard cushions, making it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. If not applied carefully, it can look patchy and slightly accentuate dead skin cells. I found that using the included cover puff tends to result in a thick, heavy application. For touch-ups, try spritzing some face mist before gently reapplying the product for best results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2019
The cushion compact has a simple design, which I liked. It's lightweight, thin, and fits comfortably in your hand. However, one drawback is that it easily shows fingerprints. 1. Coverage: - While the color matches my skin tone perfectly, I was surprised by the lack of coverage when first applied. It requires multiple layers for adequate coverage. - You'll need a concealer with this product. 2. Skin appearance: - It gives the face a natural glow. - The glow is nice, but the overall skin appearance isn't great. It emphasizes pores and texture. After 6 hours without touch-ups, pores and texture became even more noticeable, and it doesn't wear off gracefully. Significant buildup around the nose area. 3. Adherence: - You might want to swap out the puff for something like the Skinfood puff for better results. It feels like it's not quite adhering properly to the skin. 4. Longevity: - Checked the mirror 3 hours after morning application, and it looked like the product was just sitting on top of the skin rather than being absorbed. This rarely happens with other products, but it did with this one. I'd praise it if it were good, but honestly, it's not great. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedSep 18, 2019
# I have a 21 shade dry skin type with overall facial redness, and recently my skin has been acting up, leaving reddish blemish marks on my cheeks! 1. As you can see, it comes in an elegant, glossy navy case. While it does tend to show fingerprints, I still find it luxurious and appealing. The cushion's slim design makes it convenient to carry around. 2. I typically prefer formulas that are moisturizing, glowy, and apply thinly. Recently, I've needed some coverage due to breakouts. I didn't expect much coverage from Klairs base products, as they usually focus on a natural look. However, the Whenever Cushion pleasantly surprised me with its thin yet effective coverage! 3. I used the '21C' shade with the 'Cover-up Puff'. It neutralized my facial redness well without looking dull, and actually brought out a healthy glow. It feels moisturizing and has a cooling effect when applied! These are features I absolutely love... It's lightweight, making my skin feel comfortable. As I have dry skin, I tend to use slightly richer base products. When I apply the Whenever Cushion, it creates a thin, subtle glow that beautifully enhances my skin texture. It's not overly dewy though, so I think it would suit all skin types with some adjustment to your skincare routine. By my standards, it wasn't an extremely hydrating cushion! I actually think I would have used it better in summer. While it doesn't break down severely, it does tend to slightly clump and deteriorate a bit. Also, it seems refills aren't sold separately at the moment, which is a bit disappointing. If you have dry skin, paying a bit more attention to your skincare routine will help you achieve an even more beautiful application!
