Unlike other aloe gels that evaporate and leave skin feeling dry, this one keeps my skin hydrated. It doesn't have that typical alcohol scent or an overpowering cooling effect. While it's less cooling, the hydration is superior and feels just right. Despite being an aloe gel, it kept causing blemishes, so I had to stop using it. - ch*********Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 23, 2025
I've been using this product consistently for several years. As someone with combination skin, I rely on it for steady hydration. You need to layer a cream on top of it. When it's almost empty, the pump doesn't work well, so you have to flip it upside down or open it to get the remaining product out. - ki********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2024
It absorbs without any stickiness and provides long-lasting hydration. It's great to keep in the fridge for a refreshing cool sensation when applied. The price is quite steep, and when you're trying to use up the last bit, you have to open the entire container. - as**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJan 19, 2024
When stored in the fridge, the cooling effect is absolutely phenomenal. It feels as cold as rubbing ice on your skin. The moment it dries, your skin feels incredibly tight. It's even worse than not applying any moisturizer at all. Maybe it's because of the alcohol content. The drawbacks are so severe that even though the cooling effect is great, I won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2022
It seems to be effective in soothing blemishes. I think it's great for those with super sensitive skin! The hydration power is slightly lacking. As you use the product, it becomes difficult to use it up completely. - 12*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 4, 2021
Among the soothing gels I've tried, this one has the most pleasant feel. Comparing it to Aromatica Aloe Gel, Bebelumy Soothing Gel, and Epicuren, it's my favorite! It's perfect for applying not just on the face, but also on the back and chest. It strikes the right balance - not too light like Aromatica, nor as persistently moisturizing as Bebelumy. The price is quite steep... I'd appreciate if anyone could share information about group buys or when there are big discounts available. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 16, 2021
When I was struggling with blemishes, a friend recommended this product because it completely cleared up their acne. I'm so glad I tried it! My skin became noticeably smoother, and I could see the blemishes gradually disappearing. I experienced a burning sensation and tingling, but I actually liked that part. It made me feel like my skin was improving. The product also absorbs well - it's lightweight and spreads easily, so it's not burdensome to apply. To be honest, while my blemishes did clear up, the results weren't as dramatic as I'd hoped. Even with continued use, I still experienced breakouts. In my opinion, this product probably works wonders for certain skin types. If you're one of the lucky ones, you might see amazing results with this product. As you probably know, it's best to apply a moderate amount and spread it evenly across your entire face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 11, 2020
The texture is so fascinating - once the product is fully absorbed, that sticky, thick, gooey feeling vanishes without a trace. My skin returns to its original state, leaving me truly amazed. It's a bit baffling, but undeniably a unique formulation that works hard. This product feels like a sanitizer. After my face felt painfully burnt, I discovered this product after some research. When first pumped, it has a water-like consistency that transforms into a thick honey-like texture as it absorbs. Hoping for a calming effect, I generously applied the Epicuren, but for someone who's always in a hurry, the absorption time was excruciatingly long and tedious. During that time, I had to endure the sticky honey-like residue getting on my dog's fur and pillows. The experience was so unpleasant that I doubt I'll ever reach for Epicuren again. Let's try to control the amount and absorb it in small quantities. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 12, 2020
It clings to my face perfectly. You can feel the difference as soon as you apply it. I can't think of anything to complain about. Highly recommended! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2020
Easy-to-use pump bottle. Transparent container lets you see the product clearly, which is satisfying. Decent for everyday use. Fragrance-free. Absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky. Purchased from iHerb. A decent product. One side has markings to show the remaining amount, though I'm not sure if it's necessary. However, the simple design with rounded font makes it look cute against the plain background.
