The coverage isn't perfect, but the color should be a great match for those with fair skin like me who use shade 23. I discovered this while searching for the right color, and I'm absolutely in love with it! The application is smooth, and when I recommended it to a friend, they immediately bought it too! I wish it could better conceal pores and provide higher coverage. You can achieve a natural and quick makeup look using a cushion puff. - po*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 4, 2016
Great coverage and adherence! It lasts long and fades beautifully. The amount was easy to control, and it applies with a moisturizing feel. It has a slight pink undertone... but everything else was great! Works wonderfully when used with an Espoir brush! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 29, 2016
- First off, the shade 25 that you can't find in other roadshop brands! As someone with a naturally tanned complexion, I found the color match to be excellent (shade 23 is usually too light for me...^^;;) - Despite having very dry skin, I could feel that coveted 'Inner Glow' effect that I love! - I've tried other foundations from Estée Lauder, Guerlain, Make Up For Ever, MAC, and Bobbi Brown, but compared to those brands, this one offers the best value for money by far! - The only downside is that it doesn't have long-lasting staying power... Although I have dry skin, it does last longer when used with a makeup base. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinFeb 19, 2016
This seems like a great foundation for beginners, especially if you have dry skin. It keeps your skin moisturized for a long time, and even when it starts to wear off, it doesn't look messy. The adherence to the skin could be better. It transfers quite easily onto tissues and such! The longevity is also a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinFeb 11, 2016
It's rare to find darker shades among domestic brands, so this was a pleasant surprise. If you don't prep your skin properly, it tends to settle into lines. Also, it feels somewhat dry and matte rather than moisturizing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2016
I love how moisturizing it is! The adherence, application, and lasting power are all satisfying. It's a bit disappointing that the coverage is quite lacking. - be*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 19, 2016
I have a darker complexion, so shade 23 is a bit light for me. However, thanks to the recommendation from an ESPOIR sales associate, I started using the tan shade and it's a perfect match! The color suits me well, it has great coverage, and it's more hygienic than cushion foundations. (With cushions, cleaning the puff is a hassle... and using it without washing feels unsanitary...) There's nothing particularly disappointing about this product. I'm satisfied and plan to repurchase. I recommend this to those with darker skin tones who struggle to find foundations at other drugstore brands. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 5, 2016
I can't recall exactly when I started using it, so I've indicated a usage period of over 12 months based on the purchase date of October 2014. I have combination skin, and when I use matte foundations for makeup, my skin tends to look patchy. That's why I prefer moisturizing formulas, and this foundation applies thinly and feels hydrating. However, keep in mind that foundation experiences can vary greatly from person to person, so your mileage may vary! Despite being the darkest shade available, the more I blended it out, the more I questioned if this was truly the darkest color. It also has a slight reddish undertone, which might be why it appears less dark than expected. While it adheres well to the skin when applied properly, I wouldn't recommend this product if your skin isn't in good condition. It's one of those products that really depends on your skin's current state. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 18, 2015
I was hoping to buy a new product from Espoir (the one that comes with a brush), but it was sold out, so I ended up trying this one! The color seems to match my skin tone well... I guess that's the only positive thing I can say about it. The adherence is really poor... Even though it's moisturizing, I expected it to cling to my skin, but it just doesn't. I wish I could find my holy grail foundation... It feels like it's just sitting on top of my skin rather than blending in. Given its lack of adherence, I tried applying it with my fingers, a sponge, and a brush. The brush is the winner! After applying with a brush, I finish by going over areas that need more coverage with a sponge. - rl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 29, 2015
The coverage is good. The adherence to the skin is decent. It applies smoothly as well. If your skin is dry, it can accentuate dead skin cells. Lately, I think I've been getting blemishes after using this.
