I tried out the sample I received. The swatch on the right side of my hand shows a subtle and natural finish. It seems like it would make a great base for everyday wear. At first glance, it has a pink-beige tint, but it lacks the dewy finish and natural look I was hoping for. It also appears quite yellow, which I'm not fond of as I dislike yellow-based products. It was a bit too dark for my complexion as well. - sj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDec 28, 2022
Creamy texture. Fragrance-free. Great color for warm skin tones. Adheres well and provides good coverage. Creates a smooth complexion regardless of skin texture. Typical warm-toned foundation. Not recommended for fair-skinned individuals. Can make fair skin appear yellowish. Note that cool-toned users may find this product gives their skin a yellowish tint. - li*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2021
This product is great for our current mask-wearing times. It doesn't give a glow but adheres well to the skin with a good finish, staying put nicely. It didn't break down in an unsightly way either. It has decent coverage for a tinted moisturizer, effectively concealing light blemishes or acne marks. I tried Innisfree's Simple Label tinted moisturizer before, but it felt heavy on my skin so I stopped using it. This one, however, is lightweight and perfect for daily use without feeling burdensome! The only downside might be that the color is a bit dark...? As a warm-toned person, I chose this product because tinted moisturizers with pink undertones look too ashy on me. However, I was a bit disappointed that the color was so natural-looking. While it's called a tinted moisturizer, it's better to think of it as a BB cream without the grayish cast. - cu*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2021
The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, and the price doesn't seem too steep. The texture is also fantastic! There's not really anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, maybe the ingredients? I don't have any specific tips to share. Just apply your skincare products in the usual order and you'll be fine... - ch********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2021
~Petition to bring back this discontinued product~ 1. It fills in pores perfectly. My pores are about the size of tangerines. Even without paying much attention when applying, a few taps with the puff and the pores are filled in... 2. It offers decent coverage. Despite being a tinted moisturizer, I was pleased with its coverage. While I still need concealer for my severe acne, my face feels much lighter compared to wearing foundation. 3. It rarely causes breakouts (in my experience). This varies from person to person, but my skin tends to erupt with tiny bumps and pus-filled pimples even when using products supposedly good for acne. However, this product significantly reduced the number of pimples I get after applying makeup. It's truly a holy grail item (It seems products with phenoxyethanol don't suit me, e.g. Cushion foundation) 4. Suitable shade for fair skin (I'm shade 17-19) The pink-beige color perfectly meets the needs of those with fair skin, providing a brightening effect. Highly recommended for those who found the original tinted moisturizer too dark. Discontinued... sigh. I stocked up when I heard the news, but this won't last a lifetime - I'll use it up within a year. Please bring it back, dear cosmetic gods! It's fine to apply with your fingers, but using a Ruby Cell puff and pressing it into your pores for that filling effect really improves the adherence. Also, make sure to stock up when you see it available online! - au********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2021
- The texture is like a thin, moisturizing liquid foundation. It's not oily at all, but has a high-viscosity, bouncy feel that adheres to the skin like a hydrating skincare product. When I first applied it, I was amazed by its sophisticated formula. I haven't used it for long, but it has holy grail potential! - It has a subtle yet effective coverage. It applies thinly with high transparency, not feeling heavy at all. While blemishes still show through, it evens out the complexion beautifully. - Just a tiny amount, about the size of a pea, smoothed and patted on with your hands, gives a natural look that makes your skin appear really good. It's so convenient, which I love. - Maybe because I apply so little, there's hardly any transfer, and even after a while, only a bit of natural oils come through without any noticeable breakdown. - The Natural Beige shade gives a calm, clean look on my 22 tone skin, rather than a bright effect. It's a beautifully formulated color without looking too yellow. - The fragrance is very strong! Almost like applying perfume. It lingers for about 1-2 hours. I personally like it, but those who dislike fragrances might find it uncomfortable. - There's a very slight emphasis on skin texture. I've never seen a base product with low coverage and a glowy finish that doesn't do this. - Since you apply only a thin layer, the SPF is negligible. You definitely need to apply a separate sunscreen. - With my combination-oily skin, the bouncy texture and subtle inner glow finish seemed to dry out slightly after a short while. It's a tinted 'moisturizer', but it's hard to say it's actually moisturizing. I like the fresh, clean feel as I have oily skin, but those with combination to dry skin might find it a bit drying. - It's perfect as a 'no-makeup makeup' base, and I was determined to repurchase, but the problem is it's been removed from the official website. It hasn't been out for long, so I wonder if it's discontinued. Seeing that Espoir's popular green sunscreen and new brightening moisturizer have also been taken down, it seems they might be revamping due to SPF controversies. I'll just have to wait optimistically for its return! - fo*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 1, 2020
As someone with a light summer complexion and thin skin, I often find that foundation can make my makeup look heavy and outdated. This product, however, creates a natural, ultra-thin layer that adheres perfectly to the skin. When applied, it's like draping a delicate silk veil over your face, resulting in a beautifully enhanced complexion. Honestly, since using this, I haven't experienced any blemishes. After switching to this as my base, people have been complimenting my skin, saying it has a lovely glow and looks healthier. There aren't really any downsides. I'm using the pink beige shade, and the color is beautiful. It does transfer a bit onto masks, but that seems unavoidable with most products. The only issue is that it's not very well-known. I'd be devastated if it were discontinued! The way it enhances the complexion is absolutely stunning. Applying it with a damp sponge gives an excellent skin finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2020
In these times when we need to wear masks, this product is perfect as a quick and easy sunscreen alternative! I bought the pink beige shade, and it instantly brightens up my complexion. It gives that natural 'no-makeup makeup' look. The product page claims it doesn't transfer onto masks, but by evening, it definitely does rub off. Just a heads up! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2020
The way it enhances my complexion is absolutely stunning! I tried a sample and immediately bought the full-size product. When I pat it on with a damp sponge, my skin looks as smooth as a peeled egg! Right after application, you get that beautiful glow, but it becomes more matte over time. I think it might be challenging for those with dry skin. I have oily skin, and I still make sure to layer on plenty of hydrating skincare before using this. - sk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 14, 2020
I loved the natural skin look it gave! Since I wear a mask, I wanted a more natural appearance when I take it off, rather than heavy coverage. This product delivered exactly what I wanted! It feels more plump and bouncy than moisturizing. The coverage is a bit lacking. It's not like a high-coverage foundation, but rather it improves your skin slightly without looking like you're wearing makeup. Because of this, you'll need to use additional concealer. For perfection, lightly pat some powder on the edges of your face where the mask touches!
