Plus, it maintains a slight protective layer on the surface. The formula isn't particularly firm, so even though the case is sturdy, if you give it a big knock... well, it tends to tilt to one side. When you twist it up to use, it comes up at an angle. You can somewhat level it out by tapping the opposite side, but it's a bit finicky. It's the kind of stick formula that might get a bit melty if left in a warm place.
