The semi-glow finish provides excellent adherence, leaving the skin's surface smooth while keeping it moisturized underneath. It's a versatile cushion that works well for combination dehydrated skin, dry skin, and even normal skin types! Just remember, if you apply it with too much pressure or layer it on too thick, it might pill or look cakey. For best results, tap a small amount onto the cushion lid and apply thin layers! I wouldn't recommend this for oily skin types during summer! For very dry skin, it's only suitable for summer use! For better longevity and adherence, apply thin layers with some time in between. This product has good adhesion, does not emphasize flaky skin, and has a luminous appearance. The coverage is quite good for a glow-type product, and it beautifully enhances your skin texture, giving you that coveted 'egg-skin' look. I love how Fresh Ian always nails that pretty ivory shade. Some might find it a bit disappointing that it's closer to semi-matte than expected for a glow product. I knew this when I bought it, so I'm satisfied! It's not a bad product, just average. The reason for the lower rating is: - I previously used a cushion that worked really well with my skin. I chose this product due to the price. - I prefer a very natural, 'no-makeup' look. I like a sheer coverage that feels like a layer of stockings or just moisturized skin. 🧸 Wear: It's quite pretty. I actually liked how it looked after it settled more than right after application. It doesn't get greasy, but gives a nice glow as if you've just woken up from a good night's sleep. 🧸 Darkening: There's a slight darkening, but it blends well with my natural skin tone while still brightening. 🧸 Pore coverage: It covers pores well, even when applied with the puff. 🧸 Caking: There's slight caking around the mouth, but it disappears when blended. 🧸 Feel on the skin: It's lightweight and doesn't feel heavy. 🧸 Packaging: It's pretty. Skin type: Dry, sensitive, with milia, acne, and hyperpigmentation As someone who exclusively uses moisturizing makeup and has tried it all - Armani's blue cushion, YSL's pink cushion, NARS, Chanel Les Beiges, Amuse Dew Jelly, Jung Saem Mool, Estée Lauder foundation, Bobbi Brown foundation, and more - this has become my holy grail product. Many glow cushions have issues: 1. They only look dewy on the surface, but feel dry underneath 2. They don't absorb well and have zero adherence 3. Terrible coverage 4. Despite claiming to be moisturizing, the coverage is too high, making you look like a wax figure 5. Awful longevity 6. Settles into fine lines 7. Oxidizes 8. Poor puff compatibility I consider these factors crucial, and I didn't specifically research the Fresh An Pink Cushion before buying. I was skeptical about its glow claims, but decided to try it after seeing many ads. To my surprise, it's absolutely amazing! Great longevity, adherence, perfect coverage, no oxidation, and the puff works wonderfully. I've been recommending it to all my friends. While everyone's skin is different, it's worth giving it a shot. I applied it at 8 AM before a full day of walking around Japan, and by evening, I didn't even need touch-ups. For areas with hyperpigmentation, I use concealer - cushion - concealer, and it adheres so well that the concealer doesn't budge or pill. It's not very well-known or popular yet, but it's truly a gem. I have four or five cushions, including this one, and I don't even reach for the others anymore. There are no downsides. The cushion compact is beautiful, the ingredients are good, and it's slim and compact. It's moisturizing, making it easy to apply. The coverage is neither high nor low, just so-so. It does a good job of concealing redness. Above all, the case is absolutely gorgeous! If you wear it all day (morning to evening) without touch-ups, it tends to flake on very dry skin. It seems essential to apply a hydrating product before using this.
