I'm a shade 22, and since most cushions don't come in that shade, I usually grab shade 21 when it's not available. I have to admit, I'm a total sucker for trying every cushion someone raves about—I end up with a drawer full of regrets and backup refills that could fill a truck, haha. I was so excited when this arrived that I tested it right away, and wow, I've never used a cushion this easy to apply before. The pebble-like design is adorable, though I was worried I wouldn't find the applicator spot easily. They thoughtfully added a sticker to mark it, which was perfect. The cushion itself feels so bouncy and has just the right amount of firmness—one tap picks up exactly the right amount of product. I usually push my cushion across my skin, which either drags my base around like a foundation or gets stuck in my pores, making whiteheads super obvious. But with this one? I can literally sweep it along my nose and tap it a few times across my face, and my base is completely done. I'm honestly amazed. My skin has some freckles and age spots, and while it's not full coverage, it blends them out beautifully. The shade matches my complexion perfectly too. After eight hours of being out and about, I checked my skin when I got home, and aside from a couple of blemishes that surfaced and barely visible pores, everything looked naturally flawless. I have combination dehydrated skin—super dry in winter, oily in summer—but I didn't feel any dryness at all. It felt so comfortable. And I didn't even do an elaborate skincare routine beforehand. I just applied toner, essence, sunscreen, and went straight to tapping on the cushion. If you're hunting for an easy-to-apply cushion, I'm giving this my full recommendation. I haven't found any downsides yet. If I get the chance, I'd love to try shade 21 as well.
