The standout feature is its natural, subtle brightening effect that leaves skin feeling moisturized. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found the hydration lasts impressively long. However, for a hybrid sunscreen, the ingredients seem to lean more towards chemical filters than I expected. I decided to try the sunscreen since I liked HDPH's skincare and cleansers. But as soon as I applied it, I felt a burning sensation. I thought maybe my skin was just extra sensitive that day, so I continued using it for a few more days. The burning was especially noticeable around my eyes and lips. My eyes started stinging, and after a few days of exposure, my skin became irritated and blemishes started appearing. I even had my boyfriend try it to see if it was just me, but he said it made his eyes sting too. I persevered for almost two weeks, but the burning sensation never went away. It even burned when I was cleansing it off. I bought it during a buy-one-get-one-free sale, so I kept using it thinking it would be a waste not to. That turned out to be a mistake. While their basic skincare was fine and I could soothe my skin with panthenol, using this sunscreen during the day negated any benefits. So I compared the ingredients of this HDPH hybrid sunscreen with another brand's hybrid sunscreen I used to use without issues. Although similar, the other brand had a more robust selection of moisturizing ingredients that could act as a buffer (I analyzed the ingredients using ChatGPT). That's when I realized that "1,2-Hexanediol, Pentylene Glycol + Propanediol" just don't agree with my skin. If you're like me, I recommend thoroughly analyzing whether the ingredients are suitable for your skin. For those with sensitive skin, I highly recommend using mineral sunscreens (like those from Dr.G or Aestura). For hybrid sunscreens, I recommend Hera. Amore Pacific has clearly invested a lot of time and money into cosmetics research, so while their products are pricey, they're worth it. Remember to patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive skin. My skin stayed hydrated while also evening out my skin tone, making my complexion look radiant. It provided great sun protection too. Due to the nature of my job, I sweat a lot, but this didn't wash off easily with perspiration. For me, the downside was that it seemed to absorb heat rather than reflect it. Still, I'm grateful. Usually, by afternoon, my skin gets quite oily! I've never had a bad reaction to skincare products, so I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin, but I do think my skin is on the thinner side. Texture: The product isn't thick or heavy at all. It has a light, almost water-like consistency. When I first applied it, it seemed to whiten my skin slightly and felt a bit greasy. However, after gently patting it in, the white cast disappeared and the oiliness was completely absorbed, leaving my skin soft and matte. Scent and review: It's completely fragrance-free! As you can see in the photo, there are tiny aloe-like beads in the product. They don't burst easily, so I had to press quite hard to break them. The beads don't feel cooling and don't have any scent. I really like that there's no white cast, it's lightweight, and doesn't feel heavy on the skin! I've been using it for about two weeks, and the only downside I've noticed is that it temporarily whitens the skin slightly before it's fully absorbed. Other than that, I have no complaints! (In the hand photo, the right side is where I applied the product) This brightening moisturizer seems to work hard at balancing oil and moisture. It's great for combination dehydrated skin, absorbing well without leaving any sticky residue. The product evens out the complexion nicely, making it a good choice for those looking to achieve that coveted "Inner Glow" without irritation. Some sunscreens can cause your base makeup to pill, but not this one - it's absolutely foolproof! There's no stinging sensation around the eyes either. There's a slight white cast, but it disappears when you spread it thinly. I have super sensitive skin that tends to develop small bumps when I switch products, but HIDIF didn't cause any irritation or blemishes. It actually works as a great makeup base when applied before foundation. While it's moisturizing, it felt a bit too rich for my combination dehydrated skin, especially in the T-zone during summer. And the sunscreen itself is just as beautiful! The capsules absorb as you massage them in, giving an extra boost of hydration. Overall, it lightly evens out the skin tone and texture while leaving a moisturized finish. For my extremely dry skin, this is absolutely top-notch! You have to shake it well to get the capsules to come out evenly, otherwise they tend to clump together. Since it gives a dewy glow, there's a slight tendency for pilling, but it's minor. For best results, apply a light layer of skincare products underneath. This prevents pilling and gives you that perfect radiant glow.

I have sensitive eyes, so when I use sunscreens that don't agree with me, my eyes tend to sting badly (especially when I sweat... it's torture). But with this product, I didn't experience any of that discomfort! I think it's great for hot days when you're sweating buckets. My skin felt comfortable and happy too. Moisturizing In my opinion, sunscreen absolutely must be hydrating... I'm prone to deep dryness, you see! I once watched a YouTube video about how to make makeup last, and it said that when you touch the back of your hand, it should feel ever so slightly sticky. This product gives exactly that sensation! It feels like it's clinging to your skin in a moisturizing way. Comfortable These days, going foundation-free is trendy, and as the weather gets hotter, people seem to be looking for sunscreens that don't apply too thickly. On weekends when I'm just popping out without makeup, I feel reassured knowing I can just apply this one product with its high SPF. It feels so comfortable on my face! Particles that don't dissolve well I found that the particles didn't dissolve as easily as I expected. While this didn't feel irritating, I did have to roll them around a bit to blend them in. Sometimes they even escaped to the sides of my fingers instead of staying on my face!
