Good cleansing effectiveness...? It doesn't suit me at all After using this, I got pustules. Maybe oil-based products don't agree with my skin. There was a lot of residue left on my skin too... Not impressed - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 11, 2024
It has great cleansing effectiveness and is gentle, so I'm using it without any blemishes or irritation The price is a bit on the higher side, which makes it somewhat burdensome! - dm*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 23, 2023
●Skin profile: Dehydrated, combination in certain areas, super sensitive skin, prone to excess sebum production, small bumps, occasional itchy or painful blemishes, frequent flare-ups due to dermatitis, redness ●Incompatible with: Centella asiatica-based products, heavy textures, carrot pads, Dr.G cream formulas, cypress water-based products, excess oil, over-nourishing formulas, shea butter, silicones, dimethicone, pore-clogging ingredients (still exploring) ✔️ This product was my first introduction to cleansing oils long ago As someone who thought oil-based products would never suit me, It was a surprising revelation that I could actually use oils This product truly amazed me 🩶 The reason I've returned to it: Since I enjoy wearing matte makeup, My makeup has gotten heavier lately Removing it has become quite a chore Realized I needed something more effective for makeup removal So I've come back to this after several years Many recent products have lighter formulas Which I found relatively weak in cleansing power ✔️ For reference After using several bottles of this product, I tried a lighter option I used Make P:rem (also finished several bottles) Of course, I've had failures with incompatible products in between (Can't remember which brands) ✔️ Texture It's slightly heavier than Make P:rem But not overwhelmingly so Just make sure to massage thoroughly during the emulsification process Rather than experimenting with cleansing oils, It's better to stick with what works for my skin So I don't have any comparable products to reference ⭐️ Thorough massaging and emulsification Ensures no residue is left behind ⭐️ For those who don't suit high concentrations of natural oils Products with high synthetic oil content might work better It's important to carefully check the ingredients before purchasing Looks like I'm the type that suits high natural oil content! - wi************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2023
It's really great! If you gently massage it for about a minute, all the sebum comes out. There's nothing to complain about so far. If I find any drawbacks, I'll let you know. - to*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2023
It removes makeup gently without irritation, has great ingredients, and helps prevent blackheads. There's nothing I dislike about it, which is why I'm using it for several bottles now. I'm just worried it might be discontinued. For proper cleansing, apply it to dry skin, then add a bit of water to your hands to emulsify it. - qu*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 11, 2023
Great cleansing effectiveness! It cleanses thoroughly without any irritation. Doesn't cause blemishes or tingling sensation. The amount...? Since it's not for daily use, it actually lasts longer than you might expect. - wa*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 16, 2022
Since I haven't tried other cleansing oils, please keep that in mind for context. Being an oil-based cleanser, it does seem to help a bit with whiteheads during the rolling and washing process. It's not dramatically effective, but you can feel a few bumps coming off under your fingertips as you massage it in. 1) Blemishes! I have combination dehydrated skin, and everyone was raving that even oily skin types should use cleansing oil. So when I saw it on sale at Costco in the US, I bought a few boxes. But it seems completely incompatible with my facial skin. While it was fine when I tested it on the back of my hand, every time I cleansed my face with this oil, I'd wake up the next day with inevitable pimples, overall bumpiness, and my skin would completely freak out. It would take another 3-4 weeks to calm down again. Wondering if the oil was the issue, I tried it again a few months later after my skin settled, only for it to act up again. After repeating this uncertain cycle a few times, it became a neglected product. Recently, after watching a YouTube video where a dermatologist said cleansing should be done with oil, I pulled it out again - and sure enough, my previously clear skin freaked out once more. It's clear this product and I just don't get along. I've tried every method - rolling it with water as they say to prevent blemishes if you don't emulsify, trying it this way and that, and always following up with a foam cleanser for double cleansing - but no matter what approach I take, my skin inevitably acts up. 2) Scent: It smells bad. I'm not particularly sensitive to herbal or natural scents, but this has an unpleasant smell reminiscent of jojoba oil. If it performed well despite the smell, I might have continued using it, but seeing my skin constantly act up made me realize this isn't the one for me. 3) Texture: While I haven't tried other cleansing oils, from what I've seen on YouTube and such, they don't seem this heavy. It feels like using straight olive oil or jojoba oil - heavy and thick. 4) Itching: To add to point 1), besides the blemishes, it also causes itching. While the skin on the back of my hand is fine, my facial skin specifically develops an itchy reaction. I'd just recommend not using it at all. - wl*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2022
From the ingredients to how cleanly it washes off - it's all great! I have super sensitive skin, but I've been using this for several bottles now! It's disappointing that I can't find it at nearby stores. Please expand your store locations! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2022
I love that it's not greasy, doesn't cause blemishes, and leaves no dryness after cleansing It's a bit pricey, and I'm not sure if it really helps with blackheads - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 14, 2022
It cleanses thoroughly and seems effective for acne It's a bit pricey, but I guess that's unavoidable given the quality ingredients
