For a gentle treatment, it's surprisingly hard to find one that actually softens your hair, but this product does the trick. It works well even when I have seborrheic dermatitis, without causing any pain while still doing its job effectively. I'm already on my second bottle. The price point is on the higher side, and it comes with a cap instead of a pump, which might be inconvenient for some users. Be careful not to break the cap when opening. - go*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 7, 2019
I've been searching for years to find the cause of my skin's sudden decline since my mid-20s (I originally had flawless skin and only used sunscreen, no makeup). Then I heard that shampoo could be the culprit - which seemed odd, as it only touches my hair and scalp. How could it affect my face? While considering going 'no-poo' for the sake of my skin and body, I realized my hair and scalp deserved some care too. After extensive research, I purchased Invia Apotheke shampoo and treatment. They have a touching origin story - the founder aimed to create a shampoo safe for cancer patients like his mother. But I digress. I now shampoo only twice a week (using a tiny amount) and use this treatment to wash my hair on other days (again, sparingly). The best part? Less hair fall! I was skeptical at first, thinking it might be my imagination, but many other reviews mention reduced shedding. It seems to be true. Remarkably, once I stopped using mainstream shampoos, the blemishes on my face disappeared. It turns out that 80% of my skin issues were indeed caused by regular shampoo and conditioner use. As a designer, I appreciate the aesthetics - the packaging is beautiful. The shampoo is black, and the treatment is grey... so stylish! Personally, I love the fragrance too. I think I'll be sticking with Invia Apotheke shampoo and treatment for as long as they're available! Since I'm using this as a 'no-poo' alternative, I use an amount about the size of a 50-won coin, which helps me justify the somewhat high price point. Also, don't expect it to make your hair super soft like mainstream conditioners do. It mainly counteracts the dryness that comes from using only shampoo, which can leave your hair feeling quite rough. Here's a pro tip: use as little as possible. Shampoo and conditioner can be really harmful to your body. It's not just instant food that's bad for you! Artificial ingredients flow down your face and absorb into your body through your scalp every time you wash your hair. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2019
Hmm... I can't really tell if my hair is getting softer. It doesn't have that typical slippery, smooth feeling you get from treatments. The product feels too lightweight. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2018
I got a sample at a flea market and tried it out. Not sure if it's because I used it with the shampoo, but my scalp, which is usually flaky and prone to seborrheic dermatitis, felt amazing! My hair became incredibly soft - this might be the best treatment I've ever used! So I eagerly searched for more information, but it's so expensive that I can't bring myself to buy it... haha!
