It works well on damaged and frizzy dyed hair ends without weighing them down. The hold is decent, not too weak. It's perfect for those times when wax feels too heavy, but essence alone isn't quite enough. The ingredients are also good. There's a slight stickiness, but that's somewhat expected from a gel product.

The styling results are great! I especially love that I'm applying such a high-quality organic product to my hair. The quantity is generous and it seems like good value for money. It would have been nice if it came in a tube, but that's my only minor gripe. Even so, it's not inconvenient to use. After blow-drying, take some gel in your hands, rub it between your palms, and style as desired.
