It absorbs well, making it easy to apply, and has great staying power. It stays on well and has great longevity. I wanted a gel liner with a slightly grey tone, and this one fits the bill perfectly. I'm using it without any issues. The color payoff is excellent too. It's a tad stiff to apply. Also, the tip isn't very thin, making it challenging to draw precise lines. Perhaps due to its color, I find that smudging the line slightly after application creates a more natural look.

The shimmer is a nice touch too, making it pretty decent overall. It feels a bit too dark, so I don't find myself reaching for it often. I've tried many eyeliner pencils, but this one glides on smoothly without any skipping. I love it! The unique gray shade is especially great for cool-toned skin. It naturally defines your eyes, making them look more striking. I'm not very skilled with pencil eyeliners, so I found it a bit thick for my liking. The color is a subtle taupe shade. It applies smoothly and effortlessly. The pigmentation is quite good, making it easy to draw lines. The ingredients list looks impressive too. It doesn't smudge much, and when used with eyeshadow, it has excellent longevity. I appreciate that it doesn't break easily. The taupe color reminds me of the eyebrow pencils our grandmothers used to use... I've always used BBIA eyeliners, but I decided to try Lilybyred after hearing it doesn't dry out easily. Honestly, compared to BBIA, it hardly ever solidifies inside, which I really appreciate. The color is intriguingly ambiguous - somewhere between deep brown and grayish-brown. It complements various makeup looks without clashing. It doesn't smudge or flake off, and the staying power is truly impressive! The staying power is good, the ingredients are nice, and the price is reasonable. It's a versatile eyeliner for cool-toned skin, with a dark ash color. However, for me, the Lilybyred Rose Velvet is three times more appealing, so this one takes a back seat. The color payoff is great! It's truly versatile as described. I use this one when I'm wearing shirts or more formal outfits, while I prefer the more natural Rose Velvet for everyday wear or when I want a more polished look. I have a light undertone complexion. There's nothing bad to say! I'm inclined to repurchase it and I'm quite satisfied with it.
