It's not too oily and spreads easily. The finish is light, making it great for daily use. However, after opening, it develops a sour smell over time... I'm not sure if this is typical of mineral sunscreen products. Apart from that, everything else was fine. - li********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSep 26, 2019
It absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. There's a subtle glow, making it great to use before applying makeup. The scent is really unpleasant... It feels a bit oily. I have combination skin with a sensitive chin area, and small blemishes appeared on my chin right away. It doesn't seem to suit my skin type, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2019
My face tends to get a bit red, so there was a slight white cast, but it's not too bad if you don't apply too much. I've had acne-prone skin before, and I like that this isn't too irritating. As mentioned above, there's a white cast, so those who dislike that should use something else. Switching between this and my previous sunscreen, I didn't notice any major downsides. If I had to pick something not so great, it might be that it doesn't make much of a visible difference when applied. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 26, 2019
At first, I was surprised thinking there was a white cast, but it quickly settled and turned out fine For me personally, it feels... actually too lacking in richness - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2019
As someone who usually writes reviews on Hwahae after finishing a product or using it for at least two weeks, I can say this product is perfect for those with extremely dry skin, especially in winter. My skin, except for the T-zone, is incredibly dry, so I can't use matte sunscreens. But this one works wonderfully! It doesn't cause any pilling, so when applied before makeup, it gives a nice, lively look to the skin. The scent is quite unpleasant. It's like a mix of chemicals and packaging odor. While it doesn't need to be completely fragrance-free, I wish they'd pay more attention to this aspect. Also, when I applied the same amount as my previous product, my skin became too oily, leading to a breakout the next day that lasted for several days. It took a few tries to figure out the right amount, so I can't tell you exactly how much to use - you'll need to experiment. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious when using this product. You need to layer it gradually to find the right amount. Once you do, your makeup won't pill and will adhere well. It also tends to last longer! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 13, 2019
As someone with super sensitive skin, I can't use just any sunscreen. But this one is great! As long as I cleanse properly after use, it doesn't cause any special issues for my skin! While I appreciate that it's gentle, the scent isn't really to my liking. I'm still using it, but if you're sensitive to fragrances, you might want to think twice... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 27, 2019
Overall, it feels moisturizing when applied, but it's a bit too rich After 2-3 hours, it becomes excessively oily, and touching your face once can completely remove your makeup.. It seems you need to blot the excess oil occasionally.. - a2*****Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 26, 2019
No white cast, moisturizing, gives a dewy glow, non-irritating, and not sticky. In short, it's a holy grail sunscreen! There are no downsides. I even love the scent. It's not medicinal, but rather a subtle herbal fragrance. When I apply this and then a brightening moisturizer, I don't need BB cream, foundation, makeup base, or cushion. It gives me a flawless, made-up look. I just use these two products when I go out. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2019
I was searching for a sunscreen with good ingredients and chose the Makgeolli Ultra Sun Block. It's a mix of organic and inorganic filters, so it has a moderate white cast and a slight richness. It absorbs well, which is great. I think it would be perfect for dry skin in winter. I'm really enjoying using it! It's not great for oily skin types. If you dislike rich formulas, you might want to skip this one. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2019
I've been a loyal user of Magong cosmetics, and I'm on my umpteenth bottle of this sunscreen. For my dry skin, it's incredibly hydrating, with a slight white cast. But I actually love that - it gives me a subtle brightening effect, like it's evening out my skin tone. I tried other sunscreens but came right back to this one. You won't find a more moisturizing sunscreen out there! Plus, with its gentle ingredients, I've had no blemishes or eye irritation. Highly recommend! After a while, it can get a bit rich on the skin, but I don't mind - it just gives me that Inner Glow look and doesn't really bother me. When I'm feeling lazy about doing a full face of makeup, I sometimes mix a bit of foundation with this sunscreen and head out with a natural look.
