I expected this hard wax to be extremely stiff, but I was surprised by how moisturizing it actually is. It also absorbs well, making it a great product overall. The product adheres evenly to the hair without clumping, allowing for smooth styling. I was looking for a matte wax with strong hold, and this one was perfect. The texture is like a thick balm, and it spreads smoothly when you rub it between your palms. What I loved most was that it didn't clump at all. Some waxes are hard to wash out, but this one rinses clean easily, just as described! As someone who enjoys musk scents, I found the fragrance quite pleasant. The musk scent can be polarizing, so while those who enjoy fragrances might find it agreeable, I'd recommend considering the scent before purchasing.

Use sparingly - just a coffee bean-sized amount in your palm is enough! It seems better suited for styling hair down rather than up. The scent has that distinctive masculine fragrance that I'm not particularly fond of...
