I've been using this product for years and recently started using it again. Initially, I thought toners were just water-like and didn't use them often. However, this one, with its job's tears extract, really suits my skin well. After applying and letting it absorb, my skin feels firmer and more nourished. With consistent use, I've noticed my complexion becoming brighter! I haven't experienced any blemishes with this product. We all know job's tears are great for milia and brightening, right? I think those with combination dehydrated skin or dry skin like mine will really love this product. It feels like a nourishing toner that replenishes the skin. I'll definitely keep using this consistently. I haven't found anything disappointing about this product yet, and I don't think I will in the future. Love it! It seems to keep my skin hydrated and combat deep dryness effectively. I apply it after cleansing and before makeup! Well, it's just... average? Haha. Apart from being moisturizing, I don't notice anything special. If you layer it by applying twice, it becomes incredibly hydrating.

I soaked cotton pads with it and left them on my face for a few days, and thankfully, my skin calmed down without any damage. For those dealing with deep dryness and skin tightness, you absolutely must use a water-based toner like this! Use gel-type toners in the next step after applying this watery toner. This helps open up the skin's moisture pathways and resolves that deep dryness. The only downside is that it's a Japanese product... It would be nice if there was a comparable Korean alternative. When using beauty devices, start by generously misting Hatomugi all over your face using a spray bottle. Let it absorb - it really eliminates deep dryness! I stumbled upon this at Trader's about 5 years ago, and I've been using it consistently ever since. It works great as an exfoliating toner and absorbs well into the skin without feeling heavy. Every time my friends use it, they rave about it and ask where it's from! I've used so many bottles I've lost count, and honestly, I can't think of any downsides. Packaging: The transparent bottle is great as it allows you to easily see the contents inside. After use: This toner has a light white color and a watery, fluid consistency. It's incredibly budget-friendly, making it a fantastic value for money. Its versatility is impressive - you can use it for toner masking or pretty much any other purpose. It seems to be quite gentle, and I experienced no irritation on my skin after use. There's nothing to complain about! This water really delivers hydration to the skin. If you have problematic skin like mine with enlarged pores, blemishes, acne, and combination dehydrated skin, it might not be enough on its own. I use this and follow up with a vitamin C serum. It truly helps reduce imperfections when I wake up in the morning. Overall, it's a good moisturizer. Don't skip other products though. It's not sufficient for dull or oily skin types. You'll need additional products to boost hydration. I apply it with my palms and occasionally with cotton pads. Both methods work fine. Hydrating and great as a mask. Seems to have a calming effect too. While it's budget-friendly, the results aren't particularly impressive. You get what you pay for. Works well as a mask for redness. I've been using Hatomugi skin toner and cream for a long time. They've really helped calm my skin and I love that they're not sticky. The toner especially has a water-like consistency, which made me wonder if it would provide enough hydration, but it actually works quite well. Since the toner has such a watery texture, when I only apply it in the morning before sunscreen, I find my skin feels quite dry, especially as the seasons change. It's incredibly hydrating even with just the toner. I sometimes forget to apply cream because it's so moisturizing! There's honestly nothing to complain about. The generous amount allows for liberal application, which is fantastic. It doesn't seem to work well with exfoliating toners! Using an exfoliating toner makes my skin feel too dry. I've been using this product for 6 years now... As someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, it's absolutely fantastic. I'll keep using it forever! There's nothing to complain about. Just please make more products like this!
