The color applies lightly, allowing you to build up to your desired shade. The scent is pleasant. The formula melts on the lips just right, not too quickly, making it easy to control the amount applied. While the texture isn't overly sticky, it's quite tacky, which caused my lips to stick together... That was a bit disappointing for me.

Color: It's a subtle mauve pink. The color appears brighter and more vibrant on the lips than in the product image! If you were hesitant thinking it might be a deep purple based on the official photos, worry no more! It's brighter and clearer than you might expect. Texture: It applies with a pleasantly rich consistency and gives a natural tint like a lip balm. While it doesn't have a water-like shine, it does have a subtle, pretty glow that's true to its 'jam-like' name. Staining: There's no staining at all, so it's worry-free, and the staying power is great, which is why I recommend it. The packaging is absolutely lovely, and the price is reasonable, so it might be worth adding one to your collection. The product doesn't retract, so if you accidentally push up too much... it's a disaster. While it's nice that the color is sheer for a natural look, this can also be a drawback...

I bought it during my cool-toned obsession phase, but honestly, it looks stunning on both warm and cool skin tones. It's a gorgeous burgundy... or plum shade that would look amazing on those who prefer bold makeup or have fair skin. It doesn't stain well and feels quite tacky, making your lips stick together. Also, it doesn't leave much of a tint on the lips. You can also use this lip product as a blush by dabbing it on your cheeks! It gives a plump, dewy glow and provides excellent hydration. I bought multiple shades. I bought this to create a gradient look with shade #2, but the color is too subtle to work as an accent shade.
