First off, Peripera really nails the color game. As expected from the color masters at Peripera, the shade is absolutely gorgeous. Even though I have darker skin, my friend with fair skin borrowed mine and tried it. We found it looks amazing on both light and dark complexions. The color isn't an overpowering lavender, so even those who usually shy away from such shades could comfortably use this as a daily item. Being in a tube format makes it incredibly convenient for travel or outings. As someone who adores blushers, I've had issues with cream types potentially spilling in bags if the lid opens, and powder types requiring separate brushes. With this blusher, having the puff built-in makes application a breeze. The built-in puff's large surface area can be inconvenient when trying to apply precisely or to smaller areas. Also, I noticed some small, millet-like blemishes appearing where I used the product, which makes me question the quality of the ingredients. While the tube format has its advantages, as mentioned earlier, it's also a drawback. If you accidentally squeeze the tube, too much product comes out, making it hard to control the amount. Excess product often gets on the cushion and goes to waste. The quick-setting formula makes blending challenging and uncomfortable. Unlike other products, if you lose the cap, you can't keep using it at home since the cushion gets messy. As mentioned earlier, you need to be really careful with this tube-type product. If you accidentally press the tube, the contents might leak out, so be cautious not to squeeze it too hard. I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin. With that in mind, I hope you make a good choice, everyone! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2019
The amount is surprisingly generous and the color is beautiful. It allows for a natural-looking application and feels moisturizing, making it great for a light, effortless wear. While the strawberry milk shade isn't too flashy, it does turn your cheeks quite pink. This color might be challenging to pull off for those with warm undertones. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 20, 2019
I loved how the color subtly enhanced my complexion. Unlike other thick products that often clump, this one applies smoothly without caking. It also feels wonderfully hydrating when you put it on. As a product meant for the cheeks, it's disappointing that the gradient doesn't blend naturally. It also rubs off easily when touched. Plus, the scent isn't particularly pleasant. - lo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2017
The color is truly beautiful, giving a natural-looking flush as if you have a lovely rosy complexion. It's moisturizing for dry skin, so there's no excess or pilling like with powder blushes. When applied over makeup, it can cause the base to break down a bit. You need clean hands to apply it, as it transfers onto your fingers. For best results, after your base makeup, dab a small amount on your cheeks and blend gently without pressing too hard. It looks gorgeous when applied this way. - wj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesDec 4, 2016
The color is truly beautiful! Compared to the OP cushion blush in lavender, it has a clearer, more strawberry-milk-like hue. It applies well with good color payoff, and the packaging is small and cute. I also like that the formula isn't too runny. If I had to nitpick a downside, it might be that the cushion could be unhygienic. But I don't use the cushion applicator! You can actually remove it if you want. Just take out the cushion, squeeze out the product, and put it back in. If that seems inconvenient, well, it's just a minor hassle. Since the cushion can get dirty, try using it without the applicator. Apply small amounts at a time and build up the color gradually instead of applying too much at once. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 12, 2016
Color. The color is absolutely gorgeous! It's labeled as lavender, but it's not lavender at all. It's more like a strawberry milk shade with a lot of white undertones. - Color is the top feature. It's a pure and cute shade - The whitish undertone makes it look beautiful even on skin with redness - The texture is on the thinner side, so it doesn't apply patchy - Absorbs well - Widely available in drugstores. Many retailers carry it - Generous amount of product - Frequent sales promotions Packaging. The packaging is full of flaws, it's truly frustrating - It's a squeeze type, but the opening has a sponge applicator (!) (I wonder why they designed it this way. Are we supposed to apply it directly to the face?) - Hygienic use is out of the question (Even though I dispense it onto the back of my hand, the sponge tip is always damp...) - Even with the cap closed, product comes out if you press it - Product always accumulates around the edges of the sponge - Controlling the amount is tricky... At first, nothing comes out, then too much Packaging desperately needs improvement. Everything else is good, especially the color - ne*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessJul 11, 2016
The color is beautiful and makes my face look radiant. It's a natural pink shade that's not too overwhelming. It's difficult to control the amount that comes out. Sometimes too much comes out, other times too little. I always have to adjust the amount on the back of my hand before applying. While the color is pretty, the inconvenience of use means I won't be repurchasing. For best results, adjust the amount on the back of your hand, then gently dab it onto your cheeks before blending with a cushion puff for a natural finish. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 22, 2016
I bought this because I have redness issues. It gives a subtle pink tint that makes my skin look radiant and pretty. It's also very easy to use. Since it's a cream type, I'm concerned the sponge might get dirty quickly... - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinNov 16, 2015
Since it's creamy, it might be great for those whose skin tends to look patchy with powder formulas. The color payoff isn't particularly strong. It's easy to spread due to its thin consistency, but that might actually be a drawback. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinNov 3, 2015
I bought this thinking it was a powder blush, but surprisingly it comes out as a cream when you gently squeeze the tube. It applies beautifully on the cheeks! It would have been even better if there were spare sponge applicators included with the tube. That's my only regret.
