I've been using this perfume for years, and I absolutely adore the subtle elegance of its rose fragrance. While the scent is truly wonderful, I'm a bit disappointed with its longevity. - nj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 27, 2022
The initial fragrance when sprayed is delightful! It has a lovely floral scent. The lingering scent is a bit off-putting. It reminds me of old-fashioned cosmetics. That's the kind of smell it has! (This might be because I personally prefer fresh, soapy scents, so my perception could be biased.) - gi*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2022
I loved using Philosophy so much that I bought it again. Compared to Ballet Rose, it has a more powdery and sophisticated feel. It evaporates quickly. Does that mean I need to spray it more often? - yo********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 25, 2022
It has a delicate, velvety scent reminiscent of rain-kissed rose petals. The fragrance is refreshingly unique, which I really appreciate. The initial burst of alcohol scent when first sprayed is overwhelmingly strong. Unfortunately, the fragrance has extremely poor longevity, fading away almost as soon as you leave the house. This scent seems more suited to cooler seasons rather than warmer ones. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2021
I personally wasn't a fan of Amazing Grace Original due to its sharp scent, but Nude Rose really won me over with its comforting blend of rosy body wash and clean bathroom soap aromas. It's incredibly natural and soothing, which I absolutely love. The fragrance emphasizes a gentle femininity, which I find particularly appealing. (It's like a soft, feminine scent with strength in its subtlety - reminiscent of Ballet Rose.) While the sillage isn't strong, I actually prefer this. I'm always wary of my perfume being overwhelming to others, so I appreciate that this is a scent I can enjoy privately. For a perfume, 60ml at around $50-60 is really quite affordable. For those who prioritize longevity in their fragrances, this might not be the best choice. The scent itself isn't particularly strong, and both its lasting power and projection are on the lower side. As someone with a less sensitive nose, I initially wondered if it was even scented at all - that's how subtle it is. It took me quite a while after getting into perfumes to really distinguish the notes. If you're hoping for a fragrance that others will notice, I wouldn't recommend this. You could spray it on and no one would even realize you're wearing perfume... It's purely for personal enjoyment! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJun 10, 2021
The fragrance is lovely and suits any season. It has an elegant and pure feel that works well for teens, twenties, and thirties. The sillage is weak... It might be better to carry a small bottle and reapply frequently. - Hwahae UserOily SkinFeb 9, 2021
When you first spray it, there's a luxurious feel to it. It's great value for money, not looking cheap at all. It would be perfect for spring... The lingering scent is fairly decent too. The fragrance disappears in less than 10 minutes... It's gone in a flash! - el****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 11, 2020
As a fan of Philosophy fragrances, I tried this one and loved the subtle soapy scent, true to the Philosophy brand. It's less sharp than Amazing Grace and Pure Grace, offering a feminine and daily-wearable soapy fragrance. Typical of Philosophy, the longevity is very short. While it's not as sharp, I found it slightly nauseating to my nose, which was disappointing. - gj*******Combination SkinOct 9, 2020
I wanted to try a new fragrance! It was a brand I'd been eyeing, and it was relatively cheaper than other perfumes I was considering at the time, so I bought it. I got it as a set with body wash... I think it's suitable for someone in their mid-20s! It should be nice for winter. While the initial scent isn't great, the lingering notes are quite pleasant! The bottle is small, so I'd recommend it to those who usually like fresh, sweet scents but want to try something new for winter. The lasting scent is so-so... The price isn't bad when it's on sale, but I wouldn't call it luxurious. TMI: I dislike perfumes with soap, powder, or cucumber scents. It's not a light fragrance, so it's a bit strong and might cause headaches depending on personal preference. Don't buy it without testing like I did... Make sure to try it first! For daily use... if you have time to let the initial scent dissipate, it might be okay to wear out. It's not something you'd want to spray directly... When I'm short on time, I spray it on a tissue and dab it on my wrists. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2020
I went to Olive Young and sampled Philosophy fragrances. This one was my favorite, so I brought it home! The others had stronger floral scents that were a bit overwhelming. This one, though, feels more natural. It's like a subtle blend of delicate flowers and warm, clean soap. It's perfect for a light, everyday spritz. Plus, it's great that I can easily pick it up at my local Olive Young - so convenient! Unfortunately, the scent fades away too quickly. After about 2-3 hours, it's like I never even put on perfume. Please, please improve the longevity!
