Even when my skin was irritated, this bubble foam cleanser wasn't harsh at all! The salicylic acid is perfect for daily dead skin cell removal. It's not irritating, so I absolutely recommend it for sensitive skin! ✓ Low pH cleanser with a squeaky clean finish At night, I prefer using cleansing oil and alkaline foam cleansers to remove accumulated sebum from the day's activities. In the morning, I usually opt for low pH cleansers. When I used this in the morning, I loved that it didn't have that typical 'not fully rinsed' feeling of low pH foam cleansers. It's the best foam cleanser for oily skin types. ✓ Scent and texture The scent is amazing! A delightful citrus fragrance! It puts me in a good mood every time I cleanse! Comes in a clean, protective box. The container is similar to common bubble-type cleansers. However, the dispenser's angled design requires one-handed use for pumping, which is slightly inconvenient. (It would be better if it could be easily pumped while standing upright) ▪️Texture: White, fine bubble type, more runny than thick. ▪️Ingredients: Despite previous issues with aromatic oil ingredients, this product was fine for me. However, I didn't notice a significant reduction in blemishes. I actually got a couple of new ones, but I don't think it's because of this product. ▪️User experience: I used this as a second cleanser. Although it's not a thick type, making me wonder if it's working well, the attached cleansing effectiveness test shows it has basic cleansing power. I wanted to consistently manage dead skin cells and sebum, but my super sensitive skin limited me to using enzyme cleansers only twice a week... Pong Dang is convenient with its instant foam and feels like it melts away even the stubborn sebum plugs with just gentle rolling. After washing, my skin feels smooth. Above all, I love that it's non-irritating even with morning and evening use! Although it's a foam type so it might run out quickly, I'll definitely repurchase! As it's a sebum control product, there's some tightness and dryness after cleansing. I used it while being diligent with hydration! The amount from one pump is small. Love that it dispenses just the right amount! One pump creates sufficient foam. As I usually do a double cleanse twice, I personally prefer products that dispense smaller amounts. Eye irritation? No stinging in the eyes at all! Lather? The foam dispenser is super convenient - no need to work up a lather manually. The foam is incredibly soft and smooth. Cleansing effectiveness? It's not a squeaky-clean foam cleanser, but leaves skin feeling slightly moisturized. It seems to cleanse smoothly, though the cleansing power isn't particularly outstanding. Hydration? Highly recommended for oily skin types! Especially great for those with blemishes! It's a wizard at reducing excess oil. Overall assessment and conclusion? I initially thought this product didn't suit me because it made my face tingle... While that could be true, I now wonder if the tingling was due to extreme dryness. Highly recommended for acne-prone and oily skin types! Seems like it would work wonders for them. How it worked for my skin? As I have dry skin, unfortunately this product wasn't a good match for me. Despite the lovely scent and pretty packaging... When my husband first used it, his eyes immediately turned bloodshot after washing. I used it for 3 days straight, morning and evening - 6 washes in total. It took a week for my skin to recover! It stripped away ALL the oil, causing my skin barrier to collapse and my moisture barrier to disappear completely. My skin became rough and irritated. The past few days have been incredibly stressful! I don't even have particularly sensitive skin - mine's usually tough as nails, but this made my skin sting! I didn't notice on the first day, felt a slight tingling on the second, and attributed the extreme dryness to the weather, so I continued using it on the third day. Not realizing it was the culprit, I stopped using it from the fourth day and began a skin recovery project. Sheet masks, modeling masks, using an exfoliating toner as a regular toner by leaving it on in the mornings, slathering hand cream on my face for 3 days straight... It was truly exhausting! With no oil left on my face, I couldn't even wear makeup for two days. At night, I'd drench my face in ampoules, but by morning it would be dry again. Before work, I'd apply every cream I owned, and still had to apply hand cream 3 times at work just to get my skin back to normal. It was a struggle! I tried using the Pongdang Deep Cleanser as a body wash! It was a whole new world! So hydrating! Incredibly soft! No dry feeling at all, and my skin felt super smooth! Both my husband and I had the same experience! (However, it's important to note that this is a foam cleanser, not a body wash... The texture felt dense with fewer bubbles, though it wasn't particularly foamy. The cleansing effectiveness seems to be medium to medium-high. After washing, there's a slight squeaky-clean feeling. I'll need to use it more to fully understand its effects. To be honest, I'm not sure if it's better than my previous foam cleanser.
