After using another silicone-free Syoss product for my scalp, I was looking for something more hydrating and chose this one. The cleansing effectiveness and lather are quite good. I definitely felt a moisturizing effect after washing. Most scalp shampoos I've used left my hair feeling overly stripped and frizzy, but this product left a relatively hydrated feeling. Being a scalp shampoo, daily use can cause significant hair damage. Even with using conditioner or treatment, the strong cleansing power left my scalp feeling incredibly light and fresh, but my hair became quite damaged. Also, I occasionally experienced some irritation. If you use this shampoo daily, make sure to take the time to use a treatment every single day.
