One swipe leaves your skin with a luminous sheen, as if a snail trail had gently glided across, creating a radiant coating that gleams under the light while locking in hydration. It's not sticky at all and responds instantly to your skin's temperature, absorbing beautifully. The quantity is a bit disappointing. If there were a larger version available, it would likely last much longer. - gr************Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 7, 2024
I've tried the Gahee Multi Balm, but The SAEM's Snail Essential Multi Stick suits my skin better, so I've settled on this as my go-to multi balm and have been using it consistently. It absorbs well, and the hydration lasts for an incredibly long time. It's a product I can truly recommend for those with super sensitive skin. The scent is a bit disappointing. It's the kind of fragrance that people might either love or hate. Personally, it's not to my taste, so I wish it were unscented. That's why I deducted one star. It's a convenient size to carry around, so I keep it in my pouch and apply it not only to my face but also to my lips and neck whenever I feel dryness. Plus, being in stick form makes it easy and hygienic to apply when I'm out and about. - ga********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2022
This is The SAEM Snail Essential EX. It's a convenient essence stick that's easy to apply. I received this product through Hwahae previously. * Easy to use Being a stick format, it's incredibly convenient to use. You can just glide it on, and the texture is so smooth that it absorbs well. It's not at all rough. It's extremely gentle. Yet it doesn't feel greasy or sticky when applied. ** Rich in oil and moisture balance It's perfect for use in winter or during seasonal changes! The rich oil and moisture balance makes it comfortable on the skin. I'd recommend this for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin. It has a slightly rich texture, so I think it would work well with a gua sha massage tool too. I'm considering repurchasing when winter comes around again. I didn't really find any drawbacks. It might feel a bit heavy during the summer months. - ba*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 21, 2022
I won this product through Hwahae and I'm using it now, so I'll leave a review. I've had poor eyesight for a long time, which has caused forehead wrinkles. I mainly use it on my forehead, nasolabial folds, and neck. The stick format makes it convenient to use and easy to apply frequently. It contains functional ingredients, and except for the fragrance, all the ingredients are great. The packaging is also pretty. Despite some drawbacks, everything else is good enough to keep using it. I have super sensitive skin, so when I apply it around my eyes, it stings. Therefore, I don't use it in the eye area. The scent is quite strong. Although the fragrance is pleasant, it might not be good for the skin. Also, it leaves a shiny finish. I don't mind it, but some people might not like that. If you apply it gently and lightly in one stroke, it won't leave too much of a shiny finish. In the hand photo, the left side shows a light single application, while the right side shows a pressed double application. - hg*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 20, 2022
✔️Hydration It applies like it's coating your skin barrier. The texture feels quite rich, so it's a no-no for oily skin types! I used it mainly on dry areas during winter, and even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any major blemishes. ✔️Blemishes After using it, I occasionally got a small blemish in areas prone to excess oil production due to the richness. So I mainly applied it to drier areas like under the eyes or around the mouth. ✔️Scent The fragrance is a bit strong. It also contains fragrance ingredients, which is a bit disappointing. ✔️Hygiene Being a stick format, I was a bit concerned about the hygiene aspect...! As you use it, you can see dust sticking to it, and once it touches the skin, bacteria can potentially grow. So it's not my preferred type of packaging. These days, I'm using a spatula to apply it. It's great for use on body parts like elbows! - ab******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2022
The scent is quite feminine, which is nice. It's the color of Vaseline, but thankfully doesn't smell like it. The package is small enough to fit in my bag for touch-ups, which is great. It's an emulsion, so it won't make my makeup melt off like a mist might. Since it's an anti-aging product, I'm excited, but as someone with dry and sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I'm a bit concerned. To be honest, the stick format isn't as familiar as a typical emulsion, so it feels a bit strange at first. It seems important to apply it in a thin layer. - di*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 5, 2022
Honestly, I like this better than Kahi. It doesn't pill or smudge excessively, it's just right... I think I'll stick with this. For my combination dehydrated skin, this product is really great. Highly recommend over Kahi... This is truly better. There's nothing bad to say... What more could you want? It's good.... There's nothing to complain about.... Will definitely repurchase. There's no real tip to share. It's a multi-stick to begin with, so it's not like it's difficult to use. - il*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 11, 2022
In terms of hydration, it wasn't bad at all, and the stick format made it really convenient to use. The fragrance is quite strong. It leaves a greasy, oily finish, so it might be challenging for those with oily skin. It would probably work well on dry areas of the body though. - je**********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 1, 2022
The Saem stick melts gently into the skin, which I really liked. It's not overly sticky or tacky, but applies smoothly with good hydration, which was satisfying. I appreciated that the stick wasn't too soft. The size is also just right for convenient on-the-go application. However, I was disappointed by the strong cosmetic fragrance. I'd recommend using it on the neck rather than the face. - ta*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 15, 2022
First off, the scent is absolutely delightful! It's rich but not overpowering, the kind of fragrance you can't help but keep sniffing. The packaging design is gorgeous too - a simple logo on a stylish, not-at-all tacky color scheme. It absorbs beautifully; being a Snail Essential, it glides on smoothly. As a multi-stick, it's super convenient to carry around and apply to dry areas on the go. Due to the shea butter content, I found it a bit too rich for my skin. It's not something I'd reach for often in summer, and when I use it before bed, my hair keeps sticking to it, which is a bit annoying. I don't think it's particularly cheap either. It's a product worth stocking up on during sales. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I only use it on my neck and under-eye area. It's so rich that it could easily cause breakouts. I'd recommend this for those with dry skin.
