As someone with oily skin who usually avoids oils, I found this to be suitable even for my skin type. Being a Director Pi product, I've used up the entire bottle. It's gentle and seems to have good cleansing effectiveness. There's not really anything disappointing about it... The price is a bit on the higher side, but it's not exceptionally great nor is it bad. So I'm slightly hesitant about repurchasing. - dk*********Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2025
I first bought this last July and have been using it well ever since. I don't use an exfoliating toner, but I use this cleansing oil as my first step every day. Since I'm using it daily, I'm more drawn to natural oils rather than synthetic ones. Among those, I chose sunflower seed oil because it's supposed to be excellent for removing sebum, and I feel it really does remove sebum effectively. For those who say cleansing oils don't remove their sebum well, try not to emulsify with too much water after applying the oil. You might notice it dissolves better if you massage with just a small amount of water. As someone who loves cleansing products but often gets bored and rarely repurchases unless it's exceptionally good, I think I'll be sticking with this one for a while. The price is the main issue. Unless there's a buy-one-get-one-free deal, it's quite expensive for daily use. Unfortunately, they don't run promotions very often. - di******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2024
Makeup removal: Gently massaging and emulsifying removes makeup effortlessly Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent Hydration: After emulsifying and double cleansing, skin feels soft without any deep dryness Scent: Mild fragrance, not bothersome Slightly heavier than the previously used Bi*rain, requiring multiple pumps. Still unsure about its effectiveness in removing excess sebum - wl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 7, 2024
As someone with sensitive skin who prefers gentle cleansing products, I found this one to be mild in its ingredients and non-pore-clogging, allowing me to use it without worrying about blemishes. While the scent might be a matter of personal preference, it's not overpowering, so those who aren't particularly sensitive to fragrances should find it acceptable. Although cleansing oils are meant to be first-step cleansers that remove sebum and clean out pores, I didn't notice a significant effect on blackheads or sebum reduction. It does remove some dead skin cells, but seeing residual oil after emulsification suggests it lacks the dramatic cleansing power needed to thoroughly eliminate blackheads and excess sebum. This product works well as a first-step cleanser and is recommended for combination dehydrated skin or combination skin types without severe blackhead or sebum issues. It's also suitable for those who typically use cleansing oils as their initial cleansing step. - tj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedSep 22, 2024
I tried this as a sample and found the cleansing effectiveness to be decent. The product is easy to use overall. However, it didn't have any major standout features that I was expecting. The fragrance is the biggest letdown. It has such an odd scent that I hesitate to use it every time. Also, as someone with super sensitive skin, I found that the gel-type eye liner required too much rubbing, which caused irritation for me. - cj*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 26, 2024
The cleansing effectiveness is great. It seems to clean well enough that I don't need a second cleanse. There wasn't really anything disappointing about it, except maybe that it ran out quickly...? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 9, 2024
I'm on my 10th bottle of this gentle cleanser. It's amazing for removing blackheads too! There are absolutely no downsides. I'm 100000% satisfied with it. It's fantastic! - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 16, 2024
This lightweight oil cleanser has a smooth, runny texture. It glides on effortlessly and doesn't irritate the skin during massage. It emulsifies and rinses off cleanly, leaving no residue. It removes most makeup without vigorous rubbing. It even took off Clio's waterproof eyeliner effectively. Personally, I use a dedicated mascara remover, so I didn't mind that it didn't completely remove mascara. The standout feature of this product, besides its cleansing effectiveness and gentle application, is that it didn't cause any blemishes. There was no redness, itching, or tingling sensation. It seems suitable for all skin types, including those with super sensitive skin. The scent is described as herbal in the product details, but I found the sunflower oil scent to be more prominent. While I don't mind this fragrance and use it without issues, it did surprise me a bit when I first tried it. - sy******Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 9, 2024
+ High cleansing effectiveness: It removes gel eyeliner well! However, you'll need to remove pen eyeliner or tint separately. + Lightweight: In my opinion, it feels lighter than the Witch Factory oil! The order from heaviest to lightest is Witch Factory > Migamsu Rich & The Pore > Migamsu Light. - Price: Not particularly cheap. I think The Face Shop Migamsu Cleansing Oil offers the best value for money. - Packaging: While the recyclable label is nice, there's too much sticky residue on the bottle, which is inconvenient (see photo 4). To remove blackheads, open your pores with a steam towel beforehand! I'm sure everyone knows this trick by now. Using this with the Innisfree Volcanic Pore Clay Mask can help with blackheads, but don't expect dramatic results. - yo**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 16, 2023
I've tried various cleansing oils, and this one is satisfying. The scent isn't overpowering, and it emulsifies smoothly and cleanly. The packaging is simplicity itself. As for the ingredients, they're top-notch - I'm really pleased. There's nothing particularly special about it. It seems like a decent value when you buy it on sale. When you have excess sebum on your bare face, this offers an surprisingly easy way to cleanse thoroughly. It's great at removing makeup, but it's also excellent for managing oily skin when you're not wearing any!
