It's soft, moisturizing, provides great coverage, and makeup applies beautifully over it. The case is quite small. I wish they'd make a larger size product. - ij****Dry SkinRecommendedJul 8, 2025
When I apply this before makeup, my skin feels so soft and velvety that I can't stop touching it. While it's great and doesn't cause any blemishes, I wish it came in a larger size. - go*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJul 6, 2025
The primer definitely helps my makeup stay put, which is fantastic! Unfortunately, the amount you get for the price is a bit disappointing. I wish they'd have sales more often! - su********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 6, 2025
As someone with dry, tanned skin and noticeable texture, I found this primer to be a game-changer. It feels like you're smoothing on a soft, even layer across your face. It does an excellent job of covering pores and after applying makeup, I was pleased to see that it minimized both shine and the appearance of uneven texture. While I didn't experience any blemishes, I did notice that if you apply other products immediately after using this primer, it tends to pill. To avoid this, I've found it's best to wait a bit after applying the primer before moving on to other products. As I mentioned earlier, don't layer other products on top right away. If you give the primer some time to set before applying your cushion foundation or other makeup, you'll find that it doesn't pill and actually helps your skin look more even and polished. - ca****Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresJul 5, 2025
As a first-time primer user, I'm impressed that it doesn't dry out my skin while controlling excess oil, giving me a smooth, polished look. My makeup, especially around the nose area, lasted noticeably longer. It doesn't conceal pores as I had hoped. In fact, when applied alone, it controls oil so well that larger pores become more noticeable. However, once I apply foundation over it, the pores are adequately covered. - xa*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 2, 2025
Sometimes primers can make your makeup pill like it's dirt, but this one applies smoothly without pilling and keeps skin hydrated. While it's similar to other primers, it doesn't noticeably cover pores any better than the rest... - li***********Combination SkinAcne SkinJul 2, 2025
It seems this is a product where you need to apply just a tiny, tiny amount. If you use too much, your base makeup might not sit well. First off, trying to apply a primer before makeup feels more bothersome than I expected. If I apply too much, my base makeup doesn't settle properly. As someone with oily skin, using only a small amount doesn't seem very effective. I wanted to try a primer because of my oily skin, but I found that the Japanese product Cezanne Zero Base in the blue container works better than this one. - so*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 1, 2025
The flat lid allows for upright storage, which is convenient. But the best part is the great ingredients! I was worried about the pump dispensing too much product, but surprisingly, you can control it to dispense just a small amount with a gentle pump. It covers pores well around the nose and T-zone! What I loved most was that the gentle ingredients didn't cause any irritation even when used all over the face. The product I received had a somewhat older manufacturing date, and occasionally the liquid would separate. Sometimes, a clear liquid would come out around the primer clumps. After using this and double cleansing, I got small blemishes on my nose and forehead. While I can't say for certain it was because of this product since I use other cosmetics too, it seems I need to be a bit more careful with cleansing. Right after application, it looks natural, but after about 3 hours, it starts to look patchy around the nose and settles into fine lines, appearing as white clumps. It's essential to check in the mirror and smooth it out periodically. I wouldn't recommend using it on smile lines, around the eyes, or between the brows unless you plan on touching up your makeup frequently, as it tends to settle in those areas. However, I do recommend it for the nose and T-zone! I double cleansed with oil followed by foam cleanser, but I think using a cleansing water or oil-soaked cotton pad first might remove it more effectively. - cy***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 30, 2025
Even after using it just once, I noticed it seems to cover pores a bit. Since I've only used it once, I'm not sure about any drawbacks yet. - li*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2025
This product doesn't offer miraculous pore coverage or dramatic skin texture improvement. However, if you've been feeling a bit let down by your makeup due to uneven skin texture, or wishing for better staying power, you'll be more than pleased with this! Another aspect I really appreciated was the ingredient list. It's definitely one of the gentlest formulas among primers. While this means it might not deliver extreme results, it's a fantastic option for those with super sensitive skin who want something that won't cause irritation. The texture and feel of the product can be a bit underwhelming. However, considering the gentle ingredients, the affordable price point, and the overall performance, it's not bad at all! After applying this product, whether you use a cushion or liquid foundation on top, it tends to create a more matte finish. So, I'd recommend ensuring your skin is well-hydrated before using this primer for the best results!
