I honestly can't imagine doing summer makeup without this product. My makeup tends to break down so easily in the heat and humidity, but this makeup setting spray keeps everything in place beautifully—and when it does fade, it fades gracefully! I always bring it with me when I travel, and now I use it every single day, year-round. I've already gone through three bottles! There's really nothing to complain about, but if I had to pick something, I wish the bottle was bigger! Here's my trick: I spray this on my cushion foundation before blending it out across my face, and then after I finish my entire makeup look, I give myself one final spritz all over. On days when I use this, my makeup stays put and doesn't budge at all The spray application is disappointing, and after using the fixer, if water gets on my face or I apply cushion foundation over it, everything lifts right off and looks weird You have to spray from a distance to get even coverage and prevent it from clumping

It's a solid, reliable fixer that does the job, but I'm on the fence about repurchasing it. That said, when I do use it, my makeup seems to hold up a bit better throughout the day. Using a fixer really boosts how long your makeup stays put throughout the day. The only downside is it can feel a bit drying and tight on the skin. When I apply it generously, my makeup stays put much better and I notice way less oil buildup on my nose. It really delivers on that setting spray promise. After a while, it does feel a bit tight on my skin, which is a bummer. Depending on how I apply my base makeup, it can sometimes clump up slightly. I use it once after my skincare routine, then spray it on my beauty sponge before applying my base makeup. The first photo was taken right after I did my makeup, and the second one was taken in the evening when I got home. I didn't touch up my powder at all while I was out, so this is my bare face (the darker tone is just from the lighting, sorry!). Honestly, I wanted to buy Urban Decay when I was shopping, but it was way too expensive and had a weird smell, so I got this instead. I haven't tried Urban Decay, but this one seems really good! Since I have oily skin, my eye makeup used to wear off quickly, but wow, this actually holds up really well! By evening, I barely get any creasing under my eyes! I'm so happy with it. Oh, and the spray dispenser is decent. If you press it lightly, it sprays out, so you need to press it firmly. When you do press it down properly, it distributes evenly. Not really any downsides? The texture is fine and the amount is great. I've been using it for several months now and I still have half the bottle left (though I haven't been doing my makeup as much lately). The scent is almost unscented, but for some reason it has this weird glue-like smell that I can't quite explain. If you spray it after applying sunscreen, then once more after your base, and once more after adding color, it sets everything perfectly and you get way less creasing! It really makes a difference. For people who say it creases a lot, the trick is to spray it on your beauty sponge too before applying your makeup. That works great!
