My hair texture has improved dramatically. I keep smelling that wonderful fragrance throughout the day, which puts me in such a great mood. Since I blow-dry my hair for nearly 20 minutes with hot air daily, my hair used to get really damaged and felt rough. But using this product has noticeably reduced the damage and my hair feels incredibly soft now. I'm definitely going to use this forever! No downsides at all! Seriously, not a single complaint. This product is packed with benefits and nothing but positives! I personally don't like applying oil to damp hair, so I dry my hair completely first and then apply it to the ends. I have an oily scalp, so the original version felt a bit too heavy and greasy—if I didn't measure it just right, my hair would get that weighed-down, clumpy feeling. But the light version is noticeably better! Even though it's still an oil essence, it doesn't leave that heavy residue behind. It still gives me that signature silky, smooth hair texture that the Silk Therapy line is known for, just with less of that greasy weight. I've been using it constantly throughout winter! When I apply it to the scalp area, I occasionally get some breakouts. That said, since I usually just use it on the ends of my hair, it hasn't been a major issue for me. Oh, and one more thing—if this bottle tips over, it's a total disaster! Even when I screw the cap on tight, it leaks like crazy! This version is noticeably lighter than the original and your hair feels silky smooth right away. The scent is lovely too, and if you have oily scalp, I'd definitely recommend this lighter formula over the original. After just one use, there's so much product leaking from the opening and bottle. No clumping at all, the scent is absolutely amazing, and it looks so pretty! Even though it's an oil, it absorbs beautifully into my hair without feeling heavy or greasy at all. After getting a keratin treatment, my hair was really frizzy and damaged, but now I shampoo, remove the excess water, apply this oil, and dry my hair—it looks so smooth and shiny! I'm definitely repurchasing this. I'm still getting to know this product, but since it works so well for me, there's really nothing I'd change about it.

My hair is fine and thin, and with regular perms and coloring, it's become quite damaged. I've been using Silk Therapy consistently, and since it's summer, I tried the Light version. I really love it because it's less sticky and doesn't weigh my hair down. The oil tends to leak out from under the cap, so I have to wipe it clean pretty often. My personal tips for using this Apply it to towel-dried hair for better absorption. If you just apply a tiny bit to the ends, you can keep your volume without any clumping.
