Just like other reviews mentioned, the application is incredibly stiff and dry, and I'm not impressed with the ingredient formula. It doesn't give that instant "wow, so moisturized!" feeling the moment you apply it, but this product really does deliver excellent lip hydration. I haven't experienced any irritation either. The lip balm comes out at an angle, so if you want to use every last bit, you'll need to get creative with a cotton swab or other tools to dig it out. I literally can't go a single day without lip balm - it's become an absolute essential for me. I know this product doesn't have the best reputation out there, but honestly, I'm really happy with it. The application is smooth, it keeps my lips feeling moisturized and nourished throughout the day, and the results last way longer than I expected. I'm typically not a fan of scented products, but this one has such a natural, subtle fragrance that's pleasantly sweet without being overwhelming. It's definitely a keeper for me. I bought this because the ingredients are really great, but honestly the texture feels different from a regular lip balm. It doesn't melt smoothly with my body heat either, which is frustrating. It feels quite stiff and hard. The formula doesn't melt into your skin with body heat, so while you could say it leaves minimal residue, it's actually pretty difficult to apply smoothly.

That's the feeling I got, but honestly, just trust the process and apply a generous amount frequently for just three days. You'll notice a significant reduction in flakiness. Plus, it glides on smoothly and feels lightweight. The scent is lovely too. There's absolutely no sticky residue whatsoever. I've been a lip balm devotee year-round and have tried every lip balm that gets rave reviews, but after using this one for about a week, my lips got so good that I could skip applications sometimes. I didn't get brand new lips or anything, but I finally escaped that cycle of peeling, flaking, and having to remove dead skin. It's been such a relief. Once I finish this one, I'm definitely grabbing another during their buy-one-get-one sale. (In the photos, I only applied the lip balm consistently, nothing else.) It seems like you need to apply a generous amount right from the start to see results, so I don't think the quantity is particularly generous. It's good for exfoliating, but it doesn't feel quite as moisturizing as I'd hoped. Apply a generous amount all over your lips, and reapply frequently throughout the day!

I originally bought it from the pharmacy, but I noticed the reformulated version feels a bit different. I'm basing my review on the flat white balm I used before. (My lips tend to get really flaky and rough with significant dryness.) It applies smoothly and glides on beautifully. Right after application, it feels slick, but the moisture lasts quite a long time, which I really appreciated. Rather than sitting on the surface with an annoying greasy feel, it absorbs nicely to create a comfortable, hydrated sensation. It wasn't irritating at all. I used it generously before bed and applied it liberally on my dry lips each morning. I'm not sure if I just missed it, but I had a hard time finding places that sell it in physical stores. More importantly, I didn't see significant results in reducing flakiness. It only temporarily masks the dryness, so when I layer it with other lip products that emphasize texture (like certain popular brands' tints, liquid lipsticks, or shiny formulas), the flakiness immediately becomes visible again. For the price, I'm really happy with the quality ingredients in this product - it gives me peace of mind using it. Unlike Vaseline that melts instantly with body heat and applies super generously, this has a thinner, more lightweight texture that feels moisturizing. It's perfect for layering under other lip products, though I have to say it feels a bit lacking for winter use on its own. At full price, I'd probably just grab Vaseline Lip Therapy instead, but I've noticed this goes on sale and does a lot of buy-one-get-one deals. The case doesn't fit together properly, which is really annoying - I'm not sure if I'm opening it wrong or what. It looks cheap at first glance, but honestly the formula is solid so I'm satisfied overall. The overly sweet fragrance isn't my thing though, and it has this lingering MAC lipstick smell that I'm not a fan of. The scent is sweet but subtle, which makes me feel happy. The angled cut makes it so easy to apply. Since it's colorless, it works perfectly as a prep base before applying lipstick. At first, it felt really dry with no moisturizing oil at all, so I had to apply it back and forth many times. After using it a few times, the stiffness does fade a bit, but even with two applications it still doesn't feel hydrating enough for a lip balm. I have naturally dry lips and this just doesn't cut it for me. I'm honestly just using it now to address dryness before putting on lipstick.
