True to its name, this tint adheres beautifully to your lips and stays put. What surprised me most is that despite the creamy, paste-like texture, there's virtually no staining whatsoever. The color range is absolutely fantastic, and I love the applicator tip. While reapplying takes a bit of finesse, the fact that it lasts for hours makes it worth reaching for every time. Reapplying can be tricky. It definitely builds up and feels heavy on the lips. At first, I was like, wait, this is thinner than expected? It's so glossy...? But then after just 10 seconds, it sets perfectly and transforms into a gorgeous matte finish! The formula is seriously amazing and I'm obsessed with it! Even though it's a matte lip, the color payoff is incredible and applies exactly as it looks. It was actually launched because it doesn't transfer onto masks as easily, which was such a game-changer during lockdown. The best part? This lip tint truly doesn't budge on masks or anything else! The peach shade in Number 3 is absolutely stunning - it's the most beautiful coral peach color I've ever seen, like a fresh peach itself! The color is genuinely gorgeous. Here's another huge advantage: most lip tints make my lips feel dry when I apply them generously, but this one keeps my lips comfortable even with a full application. When lips get dry and cracked, it looks messy and your lip makeup just won't stay put. This tint applies so evenly without any patchy spots - the color distribution is flawless every single time. I loved this shade so much that I decided to try other colors from the line, but honestly, every other shade was a total miss for me. I guess certain shades just work better with different skin tones. Also, I should mention this isn't a staining tint that permanently colors your lips - it's more of a temporary tint. I have a deep undertone, and I picked up this product to use as a lip base! The texture is thicker rather than thin, with a slightly tacky feel. The color payoff is almost identical whether I swatch it on my hand or apply it directly to my lips. It has a bit more red tone compared to the packaging color. The formula is actually much more matte than I expected. If you have dry or flaky lips, this might not be your favorite since it can emphasize texture (I'm someone whose lips go crazy without proper exfoliation, so I get it!). If you want a dewy finish, I'd recommend exfoliating first, applying this product, then layering a lip balm or lip gloss on top for a glossy effect. The photos in my review show the tint applied with a layer of lip balm on top. There's a slight opacity to how it applies, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Since I haven't used many formulas like this before, I'm not entirely sure if that's just how matte lip products work or something specific to this one. Since this is a long-wear tint, when I use it as a base and layer a red shade on top, the staying power is incredible. I've gone through more than three of these! The application is so smooth on the lips, and the color payoff is beautiful. As long as it matches your skin tone, you'll absolutely love using it. Plus, the price point is so affordable that you can use it without worrying about the cost. I'm not sure how long-lasting it really is. When I apply it over the remaining product, it tends to layer up and feel thick, so I find it's better to remove it completely and start fresh with a new application. Because it's so budget-friendly, I ended up buying separate tints for a natural no-makeup look and a full coverage look, and I've been really happy using both.
