This is seriously my holy grail mascara that I've been using for 5 years! The formula lifts my lashes beautifully, doesn't flake or smudge throughout the day, and removes cleanly with makeup remover. The staying power is incredible. I'm absolutely obsessed with it! There's really nothing to complain about. I picked up this false lash cluster adhesive and I'm really happy with it! The formula has a nice fluid consistency that's easy to work with. Honestly, there's nothing I'd complain about. I'm thinking I should grab the regular pink tube version next time so I can compare the two.

This stuff seriously lasts forever! Once I apply it and use tweezers to separate the lashes, they come out looking absolutely gorgeous and defined! It clumps up way too much... and it flakes off constantly. I've been using this for about a year and a half! There's barely any clumping, so I'm really satisfied with it! The staying power is incredible—I apply it at 6 AM and it holds strong all the way until 11 PM without budging. Plus, my lashes look so defined and voluminous, like they're saying "Hello, I'm here!" It's amazing! It tends to smudge a bit under my eyes... Even after just 3 hours of wear, I notice some smudging happening, and it still smudges even when I apply a mascara setting spray. You have to be really careful when applying this mascara—if you blink even slightly while putting it on, it can get messy, so you need to keep your eyes wide open the whole time! Just like its reputation suggests, the staying power is absolutely incredible—it stays put for hours until you actively remove it. Without any fussy effort, a quick brush with an eyelash comb and a few tweaks with tweezers gives you beautifully separated, defined lashes in just 5 minutes. I first bought this mascara in high school, and I've been using only Etude products for mascara ever since! I used to be most loyal to a gray-brown shade mascara in the past, but recently I find myself reaching for the black volumizing mascara the most. The main reason I can't switch to other brands is that this mascara doesn't smudge, clumps into a nice rounded shape without flaking off, and stays put even when it rains or I cry. The application is smooth on my lashes, so there's no difficulty when using it. A friend's mascara used to look thin and adhered well at first, but would smudge later on, which disappointed me. Etude's formula is so good that it became my holy grail from my student days until now. I do my makeup about five days a week, so I replace my mascara roughly every two months. Using it on this schedule keeps the formula from clumping on the brush and maintains the perfect consistency. If you want to maintain your curl in humid summer conditions for extended periods, using this Etude product along with the one shown in the photo above can really boost the staying power! I always use both, so when I travel without them, I get anxious and make sure to stop by a nearby Olive Young. Application feel: 5 out of 5 stars. Longevity: 5 out of 5 stars (times 100,000) I honestly can't think of any real downsides! I've never experienced any eye irritation, and it doesn't feel harsh at all. I've even had LASIK surgery, and I haven't noticed any decline in my vision from using this mascara. It's just so good. To remove it, first use a dedicated mascara remover to dissolve the formula, then follow up with a cleansing oil as your second step, and finish with a cleansing foam as your third step. If you already have naturally long lashes, this mascara alone does the trick—no need for false lashes! Your lashes look so neat and beautifully defined. The formula has amazing staying power and applies without clumping, so I really recommend it. Even without any special technique, this mascara makes your lashes look gorgeous! If you love that separated, individual lash look, definitely grab this one. It's my holy grail mascara! That said, if you're not used to wearing black mascara, it might feel a bit intense at first. First coat of mascara, then use a lash comb to separate and define. Follow up with a second coat of mascara to lock everything in place. You won't need false lashes at all!
